With La Moza, Bodega Matsu from Toro shows its fresh and accessible side. The white wine combines Verdejo with Malvasía Castellana and small amounts of Godello, Albillo, Palomino and Viura. The result is a lively cuvée with clear fruit and a pleasant structure - ideal as an uncomplicated introduction to the winery's style.The grapes come from 10 to 20-year-old Verdejo vines and some very old Malvasía Castellana vines on barren, sandy soils with a high granite content. After a short maceration period and gentle pressing, the musts ferment spontaneously, the Verdejo matures in concrete on the fine lees, the other varieties in large French wooden barrels. The result is a harmonious white wine with a balanced interplay of fruit and subtle creaminess.La Moza shines bright straw yellow in the glass. The nose reveals notes of pear, accompanied by fine herbs and a hint of honey. On the palate, the wine is fresh, round and pleasantly textured, with good acidity and a slightly citrusy, subtly tart finish.Matsu La Moza develops its freshness best at a drinking temperature of 8-10 °C. It is an excellent accompaniment to light, aromatic dishes such as sushi, ceviche, vegetable stir-fries or white fish. It is also a pleasant accompaniment to mild cheeses - or simply as a refreshing wine for socializing.

Menade Nossa Tempranillo Low sulphite 2023

The Menade Nossa Tempranillo is a unique, biodynamically produced red wine from Castilla y León, made by the prestigious Bodega Menade. This wine follows the philosophy of natural viticulture, without the addition of sulphur or artificial intervention - an authentic expression of the grape variety and the terroir. The grapes come from old vineyards in Castilla y León, where the vines grow on barren, chalky soils. Menade's winegrowers consistently focus on sustainable and organic cultivation in order to preserve the natural vitality of the soil.After manual harvesting, around 20% of the grapes are processed as whole bunches, while the rest are destemmed and gently pressed. Spontaneous fermentation takes place with wild yeasts in small stainless steel tanks. The wine then rests for several months, without fining or filtration, before being bottled unfiltered.The Nossa de Menade Natural Tempranillo has a deep ruby red color with violet reflections in the glass. The bouquet is intense and multi-layered, with aromas of ripe red berries, black cherries and plums, accompanied by subtle notes of violets, tobacco and a hint of Mediterranean herbs.On the palate, this red wine is wonderfully lively with a perfect balance of juicy fruit, fine tannins and a fresh acidity that gives it elegance and structure. The finish is long, smooth and shows a fine minerality.This Tempranillo is an excellent accompaniment to grilled lamb, spicy tapas or mature Manchego cheese. It is also an excellent choice with mushroom dishes or vegetarian stews. Menade Nosso Verdejo Sulfitarm 2024

Der Menade Nosso Verdejo Sulfitarm ist ein authentischer und unverfälschter Weißwein aus der angesehenen Weinregion Castilla y León. Er wird von der angesehenen Bodega Menade produziert, die sich für nachhaltigen Weinbau und eine möglichst naturbelassene Vinifikation einsetzt. Dieser Verdejo ist ein wahres Spiegelbild seines Terroirs – rein, unverfälscht und frei von Schwefelzusatz. Die Verdejo-Trauben für diesen besonderen Wein stammen aus alten, biologisch bewirtschafteten Weinbergen in Castilla y León, die auf kalk- und kieshaltigen Böden gedeihen. Die Weinberge befinden sich auf über 700 Metern Höhe, was für kühle Nächte sorgt und die Frische der Trauben bewahrt.Die Lese erfolgt per Hand in den frühen Morgenstunden, um die Aromen bestmöglich zu erhalten. Der Most wird mit wilden Hefen spontan vergoren, wobei vollständig auf die Zugabe von Schwefel oder andere Zusätze verzichtet wird. Durch diese minimal-invasive Vinifikation bleibt der Wein besonders ausdrucksstark und zeigt die Charakteristik der Verdejo-Traube in ihrer reinsten Form.Im Glas leuchtet der Nosso de Menade in einem hellen Goldgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. In der Nase entfaltet er ein komplexes Bouquet mit Noten von weißen Blüten, Kamille, Anis und reifen gelben Früchten. Ein Hauch von getrockneten Kräutern und Mandeln verleiht ihm zusätzliche Tiefe. Seit vielen Jahren kreiert die Bodegas y Viñedos Montecastro im Norden Spaniens exzellente Rotweine, zu denen zweifellos auch der Montecastro Reserva zählt.Im Glas ein tiefdunkles, fast undurchdringliches Rot mit violettem Schimmer. Der Tinto Fino (90%) duftet faszinierend vielschichtig nach frischen Früchten wie Blaubeeren, schwarzen Kirschen und Himbeeren sowie Pflaumen. Auch Nuancen von Zitrusfrüchten bereichern das Bouquet. Montecastro Ribera del Duero DO 2021

Die Komposition aus 90% Tinto Fino sowie zu je 5% Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot ist ein weiteres kleines Meisterwerk der Bodegas y Viñedos Montecastro. Schon der Duft des Montecastro Ribera del Duero 2018 hinterlässt bei Weinliebhaberinnen und Weinliebhabern Eindruck. Der spanische Rotwein vereint in seinem Bouquet Noten von Waldbeeren, Pflaumen und Kirschen. Dazu kommen harmonische Noten von Lakritz und Eukalyptus sowie eine schöne mediterrane Würze (Thymian, Salbei) und Anklänge von Espresso und Schokolade.Am Gaumen ist der rubinrote Montecastro Ribera del Duero 2018 trocken, seidig und weich.
