The Kleine Zalze Cellar Cabernet Sauvignon matured for 13 months in barriques. Due to this longer ageing in wooden casks, the wine shows a wonderfully multi-layered bouquet offering notes of ripe dark fruit (black currants), liquorice, leather, graphite and fine roast aromas which unite in intense interaction. This pure varietal Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coastal region is full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, with a great balance, noticeable but very well-integrated tannins and a prolonged finish.
