Glenwood Grand Duc Noblesse 0.375 l (half bottle)

The Glenwood Grand Duc Noblesse from the Glenwood vineyard is an exceptional sweet wine made from 29-year-old vines that thrive on the well-drained soils of Clovelly and Avalon. Without artificial irrigation, the grapes slowly develop their full aroma.

Before pressing, they undergo an additional selection process to guarantee the highest quality. Only the best, noble rotten berries are used. After pressing, the juice is filled into small, selected French oak barrels with a capacity of 225 liters, where it is fermented and fermentation is stopped naturally at 130 g of residual sugar per liter.

The result is a harmonious sweet wine with a golden yellow color and seductive notes of nuts, honey and citrus fruits, with subtle similarities to the famous Sauternes. On the palate, it is lively, sweet and elegant with aromas of passion fruit and lychee.

Serve the Glenwood Grand Duc Noblesse slightly chilled at 8-10 °C with duck liver parfait, dark chocolate fondant or mature blue cheese. Drink now or after 10-15 years for added complexity.

Allesverloren Red Moscatel
The Allesverloren Red Muscadel (also known as Red Moscatel) is a fascinating sweet wine from Swartland in South Africa, made from 100% Muscat grapes. This gem of a wine full of character comes from a single vineyard at the foot of the Kasteelberg, where drip irrigation and shady vines provide optimal ripening conditions. In the glass, the Red Muscadel shimmers with a deep salmon hue and seduces with intense aromas of ripe red fruit, sun-dried raisins and a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it delights with a fine sweetness that combines harmoniously with lively acidity and ensures a complex, lingering taste experience. The wine is matured in the traditional sweet wine style: alcohol is added after fermentation (i.e. spiking) to preserve the natural sweetness. The depth and intensity are maximized by pumping over during maceration. With a slightly higher alcohol content, it is powerful but balanced and storable - experts estimate its potential at an impressive 25 to 40 years.Enjoy the Allesverloren Red Muscadel slightly chilled at 14-16°C, ideal with almond cookies, quince cake or desserts with mascarpone - or simply on its own as an intense finishing highlight. Its sweetness and complexity make it a real treasure for dessert wine lovers.
