Der Bon Courage Estate The Pepper Tree Shiraz beeindruckt mit einem herrlich intensiven Bouquet. Noten von reifen, süßen Früchten wie Pflaumen ergeben mit Anklängen von Pfeffer und Vanille ein tolles Zusammenspiel. Mit der Zeit zeigen sich zudem feine Röstaromen sowie eine schöne Würze. Am Gaumen ist dieser Shiraz mit seinem vollen Körper angenehm rund, mit sehr gut integrierten Tanninen. Dazu kommen die tollen Beerennoten und die schöne Würze.

The Spier Signature Shiraz comes from carefully tended vineyards in the Stellenbosch region.A short fermentation at low temperatures gives the South African wine a strong character, with delicious fruit flavors. Two thirds of the wine is then matured for around six to eight months in a mixture of French and American oak, which rounds off the wine nicely and gives it extra complexity. Wood and fruit remain perfectly balanced. In the glass, the Spier Signature Shiraz has a bright ruby red color. The nose is dominated by wonderfully intense aromas of sweet fruit, marmalade, rosemary and thyme. There is also a slightly peppery note. On the nose, the red wine is elegant, slightly spicy with light tannins. It is supported by a delicious vanilla aroma, berries, plums and pepper.This dry red wine is a great combination with grilled beef, lamb and game, and is also delicious with duck and quail.

The MAN Family Wines Skaapveld Shiraz from the South African region of Agter-Paarl has a deep Bordeaux red color. Aromas of licorice come to the fore on the nose. On the palate, the red wine is full-bodied, with notes of blackcurrants, plums and finely integrated tannins. The wine is wonderfully juicy, with a sweet spiciness and aromas of dried fruit.This exceptional wine comes from unirrigated growing areas. The grapes therefore develop a higher concentration of aromas. Blackberry and plum aromas, backed by undertones of dark chocolate and vanilla. The wine is elegant and lingers on the palate.Fermentation with selected yeast strains. Temperature was maintained at 25-28°C. Pump-overs were conducted 4 times a day until fermented dry. The wine was matured for 13 months in French oak, and then bottled with a screw cap.
