All-lost Cape Vintage

The classic from the traditional South African winery Allesverloren: Allesverloren Cape Vintage is an exceptional composition from the Cape. The port-style liqueur wine is a creation that includes the grape varieties Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional.

The Allesverloren Vintage presents itself in a dark ruby red in the glass. The sweet wine from the Swartland winery has a stimulating aroma of honey, blackcurrants, black cherries and honeysuckle as well as sweet spices reminiscent of Christmas.

The palate has a wonderful balance of acidity and alcohol. The interplay of aromas from the Allesverloren Cape Vintage is captivating. Aromas of candied orange peel, a delicate fruit compote and nuances of dark chocolate harmonize perfectly. Wonderfully smooth, with a long lingering finish.

The Allesverloren Cape Vintage matured for around one and a half years in second and third fill French oak barrels. Enjoy this sweet wine at a drinking temperature of 18 degrees. A wonderful accompaniment to desserts and cheese variations.

Allesverloren Cabernet Sauvignon
A Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa that impresses in every respect: the bouquet and palate of the 2018 Allesverloren Cabernet Sauvignon are a real delight, more than deserving of 4 out of 5 stars in John Platter's Wine Guide. And all at a phenomenally favourable price. You can only win with this creation from Allesverloren, located around 100 kilometres north-east of Cape Town. The Cabernet Sauvignon from the Swartland has a wonderfully stimulating aroma of plums, blackcurrants and ripe cherries. This is complemented by a perfectly harmonising spiciness with notes of oak, cigar box and white pepper. On the palate, the deep ruby red South African Cabernet is dry and powerful, with a wonderful interplay of flavours: blackcurrants, cherries and dark chocolate complement each other perfectly. With a full body and a good tannin structure. As Malu Lambert put it in Platter's: "Blackcurrant & mint in true 2018 varietal paired with taut tannins, fresh acidity. Balanced and more delicious than the 2017."This red wine from South Africa matured for 18 months in oak barrels, with the makers of Allesverloren using 30% new barrels and 70% second-fill barrels. Enjoy the Allesverloren Cabernet Sauvignon with a beef steak with Argentinian sauce, for example.

Allesverloren Tinta Barocca
