Villa Maria Estate ist ein Wein-Produzent im berühmten neuseeländischen Weinbaugebiet Marlborough. Es verfügt darüber hinaus über Weinberge in ganz Neuseeland und Produktionsstätten in Gisborne, Hawkes Bay und Auckland.

Sir George Fistonich gründete das Unternehmen im Jahr 1961. In den frühen 1970er Jahren expandierte das Unternehmen und die Mitarbeiteranzahl wuchs stetig. Heute beschäftigt Villa Maria mehr als 250 fest angestellte Mitarbeiter und exportiert Weine in über 50 Länder weltweit. Neben dem heimischen neuseeländischen Markt sind Villa Maria Estate-Weine in ganz Europa, Nordamerika und der Karibik, Asien und natürlich auch Australien gefragt. Angebaut werden hauptsächlich Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon und Malbec sowie Pinot Noir und Riesling.

The Neil Ellis Whitehall Chardonnay is a wine that reflects both the terroir and the philosophy of Neil Ellis. The grapes for this Chardonnay come from the Elgin region. A region that is known for its coolness on the Cape and has the most favorable conditions in terms of climate and soil.
