Made from 100% chardonnay grapes.

A well-defined straw yellow with subtle hints of green. Its captivating aromas are remarkable for their velvety elegance, which display classic chardonnay characteristics along with attractive hints of hazelnut and flint.

The palate, too, is quintessential chardonnay, it silky roundness balanced by a lively acidity, while the fruit encountered on the nose re-emerges nicely. Delicious notes of hazelnut linger through a long, lingering finish.

Cherry red colour with very lively lights in the glass and garnet veins. In the nose there is a strong varietal grassy note that pleasantly recalls a Bordeaux nose. On the palate there is agreeable sweetness very well integrated with notes of sage and green bell pepper, good tannic concentration with spicy nuances. Gastronomical combinations: the ideal match are game, grilled meat and mature cheeses.

The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. The grapes come from vineyards planted in calcareous clay and gravel soils between 240 and 500 meters in the areas Ora, Tramin and Egna.The grapes were gently pressed immediately following harvest.
