Lenotti Le Crosare Ripasso Valpolicella Classico DOC

The Lenotti Le Crosare Ripasso Valpolicella Classico DOC is a successful blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, as is characteristic of the Veneto region. The cuvée from Cantine Lenotti gets its typical taste from the Amarone process and one year of ageing in oak barrels.

The eye is delighted by the deep dark color, while the nose perceives intense notes of cloves, vanilla and a hint of coffee and chocolate, which is embedded in the aromas of black berries. This ensemble continues on the palate and becomes a full-bodied experience with a hint of chocolate. The assemblage reveals its full power once again in the long finish.

This velvety wine from Italy goes well with all types of meat that have an intense aroma and are also well-seasoned and cooked with intense heat. Rustic pasta dishes and mature cheeses are also ideal. A drinking temperature of 18 to 19 °C and decanting are always recommended.

Cantine Lenotti

Zenato Valpolicella Superiore
The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance). This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.

Lenotti Massimo Veneto Rosso IGT
The Lenotti Massimo is produced in a limited edition, for which oenologist Giancarlo Massimo Lenotti guarantees a meticulous selection. The Corvina and Sangiovese grape varieties as well as other ancient ones such as Dindarella, Rebo and Oseleta are harvested in Lenotti’s “La Pra” vineyard, together producing this fine red wine from Northern Italy. Oseleta is an autochthonous red wine variety from the Valpolicella region. The phylloxera epidemic nearly killed it off completely, but today it is cultivated again in places. The Lenotti Massimo has an expressive, elegant bouquet. This red wine is characterized by notes of vanilla and the high-quality wood in which it is refined. On the palate, the Lenotti Massimo is complex, harmonious, dry, velvety and full-bodied. The grapes dried in boxes for 40 to 50 days. To refine this red wine, it was aged partly in larger oak casks and partly in French barriques. The Lenotti Massimo is an ideal accompaniment to roasts, red meat, game and aged cheese.
