The Villa Antinori Bianco, which was produced for the first time in the 1931 vintage, is a historic wine for the Antinori winery.

This dry white wine from the Tuscany region is made from Trebbiano & Malvasia, Pinot Grigio & Pinot Bianco and Riesling Renano. The grapes are carefully pressed and cooled to 10 °C. After 48 hours, the wine is transferred to stainless steel tanks to allow fermentation to take place. It is then stored at 10 °C and later bottled. As the grapes are only ever processed in small quantities, many flavours and freshness are retained.

The Villa Antinori Bianco from Italy has a straw-yellow colour with green reflections. The bouquet has notes of pineapple, pear and banana. The flavour is fresh and balanced, with a particularly impressive aromatic finish.

This wine is an excellent accompaniment to white meat, fish, poultry and veal in a light-coloured sauce and should be drunk at a recommended drinking temperature of 10 °C.

Im Standardwerk „Wein“ von André Dominé schreiben Eckhard Supp und Dunja Ulbricht im Kapitel zu Italien über Antinori: „Viel von seinem Prestige verdankt das maßgeblich an der modernen toskanischen Weinbaurevolution beteiligte Traditionshaus seinem ehemaligen Chefönologen Giacomo Tachis, der für so außerordentliche Weine wie Sassicaia, Tignanello (vorwiegend aus Sangiovese), Solaia (vorwiegend aus Cabernet) und viele mehr verantwortlich war.

Die Entstehung und Entwicklung des Villa Antinori wurde von kontinuierlicher Forschung begleitet - mit dem Ziel, einen toskanischen Wein höchster Qualität und Typizität zu kreieren.

Der Villa Antinori ist demzufolge das Ergebnis einer sorgfältigen Auswahl des besten Antinori-eigenen Traubengutes aus der Toskana: Ausschließlich auf den Antinori-Weingütern gepflanzte, gewachsene, gereifte und geerntete Trauben werden in den Antinori- Kellern vergoren.

This traditional wine is pure Tuscany: The Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva is a blend of mostly Sangiovese and smaller amount of Cabernet. The Antinori wine offers a diverse bouquet with notes of blackberries and blueberries. There are also notes of oak and nice spicy notes, especially clove, and an aromatic finish.On the palate, this wine is invogorating from the start. The tannins are supple and yet noticeable. The finish of the Villa Antinori Chianti Classico DOCG Riservais fruity, and the oak notes are long lasting. 60% of the wine was aged in large oak barrels. The remaining shares matured in French and Hungarian barriques (once or twice used). In addition, a smaller proportion of new barrels was used.The heat wave in August and September was a real challenge for the Antinori-winemakers. Nevertheless, this Antinori wine is excellent again. Enjoy this premium product from Tuscany to pasta dishes from the oven or other traditional Italian dishes.
