Bereits im Glas begeistert der Poggio ai Ginepri Bolgheri DOC mit einem satten Rotton und gelegentlich aufflammenden violetten Reflexen. Die Nase kitzelt diese Cuvée aus Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc und Petit Verdot mit vielseitigen Aromen.

Dank der Bodenstruktur sowie des Klimas erweist sich die DOC-Region Bolgheri in der Toskana als optimales Weinbaugebiet. An der Küste der Nördlichen Maremma, eingebettet in den Niederwald Macchia, liegen die Weinberge des jungen Weinguts Tenuta Argentiera. Die Rebsorten Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc und Petit Verdot profitieren hier von den Bodenverhältnissen.

Am Gaumen offenbart dieser vollmundige Tropfen seine gute Struktur und hohe Konzentration. Den angenehm langen Nachhall bestimmen Anklänge von Gewürzen und Süßholz. Dieser Geschmack entfaltet sich besonders bei einer Trinktemperatur von 16 bis 18 °C. Dazu passen deftige Gerichte mit gegrilltem oder geschmortem Fleisch. Auch italienische Pastagerichte harmonieren mit diesem Rotwein.

Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore

The Maremma is a characterful landscape in central Italy, which is also known for its excellent wines. Argentiera Bolgheri Superiore from Tenuta Argentiera has a bright ruby red color with violet hues. On the palate, notes of licorice and black currants. This generous, complex wine - consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc - is rich in tannins. It has a wonderful balance with a pleasant acidity. The finish is long lasting - with a remarkable freshness and minerality.The harvested grapes come from the best vineyards of the estate. The grapes were vinified separately; fermentation and maceration took about 25 to 30 days in stainless steel tanks. Château Lanessan Haut-Médoc

Bereits 1793 kaufte der Bordelaiser Weinhändler Jean Delbos das Rebland auf außerordentlich gutem Terroir, gelegen zwischen so renommierten Châteaux wie Gruaud-Larose und Beychevelle. Der trockene Rotwein wird vom Cabernet Sauvignon dominiert, mit etwa 1/3 Anteil Merlot und etwas Petit Verdot.Ein ganz klassischer und typischer Haut-Médoc Bordeaux, der durchaus etwas Lagerung verträgt und bis zum Jahre 2030 immer noch weiter zulegen wird. Paz Espejo, die im Jahre 2009 als Managerin das Gut übernommen hat, hat mit dem 2016er Jahrgang eine kleine Wein-Ikone geschaffen, die dem traditionellen Bild Bordeauxs huldigt. Gute Frucht, mittlerer Körper, durchaus präsente Tannine, viel rote Beeren, Kirsche, Cassis und eine wahre Fundgrube von Waldnoten bestimmen den Charakter des Château Lanessan Haut-Médoc, der dem Jahrgang entsprechend eine Hohe Qualität bietet. Der Abgang ist beeindruckend lang. Dieser noch sehr junge Wein aus Frankreich profitiert von einer Dekantierung von 1-2 Stunden und passt hervorragend zu Lamm, Steak, Hack- oder Schmorbraten.
