Das Bouquet des Paolo Manzone Barolo Riserva 2016 zu umschreiben, kann schon eine abendfüllende Aufgabe zu sein, auf die sich Genießerinnen und Genießer freuen dürfen. Denn dieser italienische Rotwein bietet eine eindrucksvolle Vielfalt an Düften. Vorweg reife rote Beeren, Kirschen und Pflaumen. Sie werden harmonisch untermalt durch Noten von Erdbeersorbet und Rosen. Hinzu kommen facettenreiche würzige Noten: erdige Töne, Unterholz, Leder, Tabak sowie Salbei und Liebstöckel.

Einfach fesselnd. Das renommierte US-Magazin Forbes zählte Paolo Manzone 2018 zu den 25 besten Barolo-Produzenten und mit Kreationen wie diesem Barolo Riserva untermauert Manzone eindrucksvoll sein großes Renommee. Auch die 96 Punkte im Decanter, die 94 Punkte von James Suckling und die 92 Punkte von Luca Maroni für den Paolo Manzone Barolo Riserva 2016 sprechen eine deutliche Sprache.

Im Blick auf das Bouquet schreibt Suckling: „Die gleiche Komplexität am Gaumen, voll und ausgewogen, mit feinen, festen Tanninen, die noch eine ganze Weile brauchen, um sich in den Wein zu integrieren. Gut gerüstet für eine lange Reifung.“ Der Weinkritiker empfiehlt, diesen Ausnahme-Wein ab 2025 zu öffnen.

Der Paolo Manzone Barolo Riserva 2016 reifte drei Jahre in großen slawonischen Eichenfässern (1.500 Liter) heran. Im Anschluss reifte der rubinrote Nebbiolo weitere zwei Jahre in toskanischen Keramikamphoren und schließlich ein weiteres Jahr in der Flasche.

Dieser kräftig granatrot schimmernde Batasiolo Barolo DOCG beeindruckt mit seinem intensiven und komplexen Bouquet. The Cantina Luigi Pira Barolo Serralunga has a ruby red color with orange reflections. It comes in part from vines that are over 50 years old. The wine was aged for 24 months in oak barrels. Pio Cesare Barbaresco DOCG

Der Barbaresco DOCG ist ein klassischer und ultimativer Nebbiolo aus dem Piemont vom Weingut Pio Cesare.Die Trauben stammen fast ausschließlich aus der Gemeinde Treiso. Die restlichen Trauben stammen von Weinbergen in Barbaresco und San Rocco Seno d'Elvio. Dies führt zu einem Wein mit mehr Komplexität aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Terroirs. Die Gärung findet mit optimalem Kontakt zwischen den Schalen und dem gärenden Wein statt, um dem Wein Farbe und Charakter zu verleihen. Die Trauben gären bei etwa 25 Grad und bleiben zwischen drei und vier Wochen mit dem gärenden Wein in Kontakt. Anschließend reift er in Barriques, dabei zum Teil in neuen Fässern aus französischer Eiche. Ein Teil des Barbaresco DOCG erfuhr eine Reifung im Holz von bis zu drei Jahren, um ihm mehr Komplexität zu verleihen und Eleganz und Samtigkeit des Weins weiter zu betonen.Der Barbaresco DOCG duftet nach Gewürzen, Trüffeln, Marmelade, mit schöner Vanille, sehr breit und komplex. Im Mund viel Finesse und Komplexität, kraftvoll und elegant zugleich, reine, schöne Vanille, feine Säure und schöne Tannine. Ein langer Nachhall schließt den Wein perfekt ab.Solo ein begeisternder Wein, aber auch toll zu kräftigen Gerichten, gedünstetem rotem Fleisch, rotem Wild, Reh, Hase oder kräftigem Käse.

Vajra winery is one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in the Barolo region. Aldo Vajra switched to sustainable and organic farming back in 1971 - long before it became a trend. The vineyards are kept healthy in a natural way through greening and natural biodiversity. Intensive manual work, continuous research and the deliberate avoidance of standardized cellar techniques make Barolo Albe an authentic and lively wine.The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and selected three times - directly on the vine, as whole bunches and again as individual berries.
