The Steffen ST 27 Chardonnay Barrique Cuvée is a white wine from Rheinhessen full of character that combines modern freshness and classic barrique notes in the ideal balance.

The grapes are carefully selected and vinified into a Chardonnay that gains depth and structure through its ageing in barriques.
The wood notes remain subtle and harmoniously integrated, allowing the typical aromas of Chardonnay to come into their own.

The wine is a bright golden yellow in the glass. The nose reveals ripe yellow fruit, fine vanilla and a hint of roasted nuts. On the palate, it is full-bodied and smooth, with gentle acidity, a creamy texture and a long finish - a Chardonnay with character and charm.

The Steffen ST 27 Chardonnay Barrique Cuvée is an excellent accompaniment to grilled poultry, salmon, creamy vegetable dishes or mild soft cheeses.
