The Meyer-Näkel winery from Dernau on the Ahr is one of the pioneers in the production of high-quality, dry red wines in the region and has already made a name for itself internationally. The Meyer-Näkel Pinot Noir "S" QbA dry is a worthy representative of the red Ahr wines. It pampers the nose with fine aromas of red berries, spiced with floral hints of vanilla and violets. Subtle tannins caress the palate. Matured for ten months in a mixture of 50% new and 50% used barrique barrels, these are integrated with light wood aromas. Nuances of dark chocolate round off this red wine perfectly. Enjoy the Meyer-Näkel Pinot Noir "S" QbA dry at a temperature of around 16 °C with mature cheese, hearty game dishes or braised roasts.

A delicate and elegant tannin structure rounds off the Pinot Noir Grauwacke from Meyer-Näkel. This is what the "G" in the name stands for.The fragrance is characterized by aromas of red fruits and berries. It can be enjoyed slightly chilled between 15 °C and 17 °C. The Pinot noir grape variety is said to be the queen of the Ahr wine-growing region. This Pinot noir from the Rhineland-Palatinate matured for 17 months in both new and used barriques. The wine shows correspondingly fine and smoky notes that harmonize perfectly with the aromas of red berries such as strawberry and blackberry, cloves and wood, complemented by subtle hints of coffee. On the palate, the Jean Stodden Recher Herrenberg Pinot Noir is fresh and has a good, clear structure.In addition, the wine has a lovely depth and a long finish with harmoniously integrated tannins. This high-quality Pinot noir comes from the excellent Herrenberg vineyard located in the Ahr region. The central south-facing steep slopes with their weathered slate soil have gradients of up to 60%, thus providing superb conditions to benefit fully from the intensity of the sun.
