Le Cellier du Pic Imperium Purple Shiraz Grande Reserve

The Imperium Purple Shiraz Grande Reserve comes from the higher-altitude vineyards of the rugged garrigue north of Montpellier, at the foot of the striking Pic Saint-Loup in Languedoc-Roussillon. The vines grow on limestone-rich clay soils with a high gravel content and benefit from the warm, dry Mediterranean sun, which creates ideal conditions for the ripening of the Shiraz grapes.

The wine is made from 100% Shiraz. The combination of the distinctive terroir of Pic Saint-Loup and aging in oak gives it its powerful structure, added depth, and harmonious balance.

On the nose, the wine unfolds intense aromas of dark fruits, accompanied by pronounced oak notes and subtle hints of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and harmonious, with a powerful yet elegant structure. The perfectly integrated oak adds complexity and leads to a long, enveloping, and distinguished finish.

Thanks to its powerful and structured character, this Shiraz pairs excellently with grilled beef steak, roasted game, and aged cheese.
