Château Pey la Tour Reserve du Château Bordeaux Supérieur AOC

The deep purple color alone attests to the exceptional quality of the Pey la Tour Reserve du Château 2021. On the nose, the intense aromas of red fruits come into their own, particularly black currant and blackberry. They harmonize perfectly with the wonderfully integrated oak notes.

Full-bodied on the palate, the red fruit notes intensify even further. The structure is remarkable and noticeable from the very first sip. The acidity is wonderfully balanced, and overall, this elegant wine is a small work of art in its own right, offering a long, fruity finish.

The blend of 72% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot aged for 12 months in barriques (37% new barrels). The grapes from the dry 2019 vintage are characterized by their concentration and intense fruitiness.

G.D. Vajra Langhe Nebbiolo DOC
The Langhe Nebbiolo DOC from G.D. Vajra stands for the pure expressiveness of the grape variety. This red wine impresses with its aromatic depth, elegance and freshness - a real flagship for Piedmont and the potential of Nebbiolo outside of Barolo. The grapes come from young vineyards in both main geological zones of the Barolo region. The calcareous soils of the Tortonian and Serravalli formations provide structure, fruit and mineral clarity. Viticulture is organic, with a focus on sustainability, biodiversity and a lot of manual work. The grapes are harvested in October in the early hours of the morning. A maceration period of up to 26 days and subsequent ageing in stainless steel tanks for around six months preserve freshness and varietal typicity. The wine is a bright garnet red in the glass. Floral and fruity notes of roses, raspberries and mineral accents on the nose. Juicy and precise on the palate with aromas of cherry, sour cherry, wild strawberry and fine spice. Fresh acidity and silky tannins ensure a harmonious mouthfeel. This elegant Nebbiolo is an excellent accompaniment to tagliatelle with ragout, mushroom dishes, grilled lamb or mature cheese. Ideally served at a drinking temperature of 16-18 °C to bring out its aromatic depth and structure.

Raka Barrel Select Malbec
This Raka Malbec from South Africa's Klein River Valley delights with an expressive interplay of aromas: The nose reveals intense notes of plums, blackberries and cassis, underpinned by a subtle hint of smoke. The dark fruits are reflected on the palate - the juicy plums provide jammy tannins, which are perfectly balanced by well-integrated oak and an elegant structure. The finish is long, spicy and harmonious. The grapes for this red wine were harvested by hand in the Klein River Ward and carefully sorted directly in the vineyard. A second berry selection was carried out in the cellar before the must was fermented with pure yeasts. During the five-day mash fermentation, the juice was pumped over the skins several times a day and punched down by hand. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was separated from the yeast and transferred to a resting tank. This was followed by malolactic fermentation and a short resting phase before the wine matured in French oak barrels (225 liters, 25% of which were new) for 12 to 14 months. The Raka Malbec is an ideal accompaniment to grilled beef, spicy braised dishes or mature hard cheese. The recommended drinking temperature is 16-18 °C to allow the complex aromas to develop optimally.
