The deep purple color alone attests to the exceptional quality of the Pey la Tour Reserve du Château 2021. On the nose, the intense aromas of red fruits come into their own, particularly black currant and blackberry. They harmonize perfectly with the wonderfully integrated oak notes.Full-bodied on the palate, the red fruit notes intensify even further. The structure is remarkable and noticeable from the very first sip. The acidity is wonderfully balanced, and overall, this elegant wine is a small work of art in its own right, offering a long, fruity finish.The blend of 72% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot aged for 12 months in barriques (37% new barrels). The grapes from the dry 2019 vintage are characterized by their concentration and intense fruitiness.
