Montes Folly - the famous single-varietal Shiraz (Syrah) from Viña Montes - is also an outstanding example of Chilean winemaking in the 2020 vintage. The wine has a deep, ruby red color. On the nose, the wine is intense and elegant at the same time. Notes of blackcurrants, blueberries and toast aromas come into their own. There are also nuances of chocolate.On the palate, the Shiraz offers exceptional complexity and structure. Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, mocha, espresso and fine spice are wonderfully underpinned by velvety, powerful tannins. The long-lasting and harmonious finish is wonderfully invigorating thanks to its fresh acidity.Enjoy this exceptional red wine from Chile with red meat, lamb or game dishes. Montes Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc 2024

This Sauvignon Blanc from Chile has an exotic aroma of passion fruit and grapefruit with hints of grass, boxwood and tomato leaves. The Montes Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc is mineral on the palate with subtle salty notes. It is powerful and elegant at the same time. The long-lasting finish is fruity and intense. The pure Sauvignon Blanc is straw-colored with a delicate greenish shimmer.The grapes for the Montes Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc are harvested by hand in the cool morning hours and transported to the winery chilled. There they are sorted and crushed at a maximum of 10 degrees. The resulting must is clarified by cold sedimentation and then fermented in fermentation tanks at 10-12 degrees. The white wine then matures for a few months on yeast cells. The slow and cool fermentation and maturation on the yeast cells give the wine its special fruit, which is typical of a Sauvignon Blanc. Try the lively and juicy Outer Limits Sauvignon Blanc with seafood, salmon or beef carpaccio and goat's cheese.The Outer Limits series from Montes stands for wines made from grapes grown in terroirs with extreme climatic and/or site conditions.

Purple Angel is a selection of our best Carmenère selected from our two Estates (50% sourced from Apalta, were its sunny vineyards give elegance to the wine and 50% from our Marchigue Estate, a coastal cool weather vineyard that produces low yields naturally and provides strength, concentration and a deep, intense carmine color to it. A fantastic wine that blends both elegance and powerPurple Angel showcases the spicy touches typical of Carmenère, with ripe, gentle and soft tannins, it’s a full bodied, concentrated wine that combines red berries and dark chocolate on the mouth with alluring cigar box, blackberries and plums aromas on the noseThe wine is blended with a touch of Petit Verdot to enhance its structure, color and cellaring potential. A mouth filling wine with a very long finish, definitely a unique Carmenère!Denomination of Origin: Purple Angel is a blend of 92% Carmenère and 8% Petit Verdot from the Colchagua Valley. Winemaking: Grapes are carefully hand picked. The clusters go through a grape by grape selection made by hand with a team of 14 people, in which only good fruit is allowed into the tank. During the 18 months of barrel aging in new French oak barrels, the wine is racked 3 times to get rid of lees, and allow some oxygen to interfere in the evolution and maturation of this wine.When the final blend is made, if the wine is totally clear, and has no microbiological pressure, there is no need for filtration or fining….so the wine goes unfiltered to the bottling process.Decant for at least an hour for better enjoyment, allowing the wine to open up.

The Montes Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is an expressive red wine from the Chilean Valle de Colchagua, one of the most renowned wine regions in South America.This Chilean red wine is characterized by a dense ruby red color with dark reflections. The intense aroma of fruits such as cassis and wild strawberries is accompanied by black cherries and a hint of chocolate: dark berries on the surface, delicately underlined by a hint of oak, supported by the solid and ripe tannins of this dry red wine. The Cabernet provides the power (85%), the Merlot the fruitiness (15%). Gentle and refined on the finish.The Montes Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent accompaniment to all spicy, aromatic meat dishes. Der Montes Chardonnay besitzt den typisch fruchtigen Stil dieser Rebsorte mit einem saftigen Pfirsicharoma.Durch die 6-monatige Lagerung in amerikanischen Eichenfässern erhält er seine ausgewogene, dezente Vanillenote ohne dabei überladen oder allzu üppig zu wirken.Die Trauben werden entrappt und gelangen direkt in die Presse. Der Most vergärt und reift 6 Monate lang in amerikanischer Eiche. Lediglich 50% des Chardonnays machen den biologischen Säureabbau, so bleibt er besser frisch und körperreich. Vor der Flaschenfüllung findet eine Kieselgur und Schichtenfiltration statt.Trinken Sie den Chardonnay zu Salaten mit gebratenem Fisch und Krustentieren, hellem Fleisch und Pasta mit Sahnesoße.

Im Gegensatz zu Champagner verbringt der Montes Sparkling Angel Brut nicht 24 Monate, sondern 36 Monate auf der Hefe.
