This blend, consisting equally of Primitivo and Merlot, is redolent of ripe red fruit, cherries and blackberries, complemented by fine notes of cinnamon and chocolate, subtle hints of vanilla and a lovely spice as well. On the palate, the ruby-red Vigneti del Salento Zolla Primitivo-Merlot shows a great, clear structure. The red wine from South Italy is full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a long finish.The blend matured for several months in second-fill American and French oak casks. You’ll enjoy discovering this red wine from Apulia with delicate starters, pasta dishes, red meat, game or ripe cheeses.

Viña Carmen Insigne Carménère 2023

Der Carmen Carménère duftet nach roten und schwarzen Früchten wie Erdbeeren, Kirschen, Himbeeren, Brombeeren und Blaubeeren sowie nach Rhabarber. Dazu bereichern das Bukett feine Nuancen von Vanille, Oliven und Schokolade sowie eine unterschwellige pfeffrige Würze. Am Gaumen ist der Carménère aus dem Central Valley kraftvoll und ausgewogen. Die Tannine haben eine schöne Intensität und sind zugleich seidig. Dieser Rotwein der traditionsreichen Viña Carmen weiß auch durch seine schöne Länge zu überzeugen.Beim Ausbau des Carmen Carménère kamen französische und amerikanische Eiche zum Einsatz, die die Aromenvielfalt dieses schönen Rotweins aus Chile unterstützen. Warwick The First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Der Warwick First Lady Cabernet Sauvignon hat eine tiefe rote Farbe. Im Bouquet rote Beeren sowie schwarze Johannisbeeren mit einem Hauch von Kräutern, ergänzt mit Vanille und Schokolade. Der Wein ist geschmeidig, vollmundig mit reifen Tanninen und guter Struktur.Der 100-Prozent Cabernet Sauvignon reifte 18 Monate lang in französischen Eichenfässern. Mit mehr als 20 Hektar Anbaufläche ist Cabernet Sauvignon die bestimmende Traube beim familiengeführten Weingut Warwick, das insgesamt über eine Anbaufläche von 56 Hektar verfügt. Die Ratcliffes erkannten schnell, dass sich das Terroir in der Provinz Westkap ideal für den Anbau von Cabernet Sauvignon eignet. Der erste Wein, den Norma Ratcliffe kreierte, war dementsprechend ein Cabernet Sauvignon. Deshalb trägt er auch den Namen „First Lady“.Der Wein passt gut zu Lammbraten, Eintöpfen und Schweinefleisch.

Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay 2023

Wente Vineyards Chardonnay stands for the finest creations from the Livermore Valley near the San Francisco Bay. The morning coastal fog pushed by the Pacific winds to the vineyards of the traditional winery, lets mature the Chardonnay grapes very consistently. So wonderfully balanced wines develop with a beautiful minerality and acidity.The Wente Morning Fog Chardonnay is a blend of Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer. On the nose it offers invigorating aromas of apples and tropical fruits, which are wonderfully complemented by flavors of vanilla and toast. On the palate, full-bodied and with nice acidity.The fresh, crisp white wine was aged for five months to 50% in American oak and to 50% in stainless steel tanks to emphasize the natural fruit flavors. Enjoy this wine from Wente. The winery was founded in 1883 and has developed an international name among others by its Chardonnay wines.

A Riesling with character! Notes of apple, grapefruit and black pepper are joined by a planty floral note in the restrained bouquet. On the palate, the Trenz Steinhaus is juicy and soft with an almost sweetish fruit. The fine acidity is reflected in a fresh lemon aroma. The long finish is characterized by multi-layered mineral traces. A wonderfully vinified German Riesling that shows the finesse of the 40-year-old vines around Johannisberg.The soils of the Trenz Steinhaus Riesling are interspersed with Taunus quartzite and have a very high rock content under a layer of soil around 10 cm thick. This gives the dry white wine its incredible minerality. Michael Trenz and his team combine tradition and modernity.
