The elegant balance between fruit, spice and wood makes this Cabernet Franc a particularly harmonious representative of its kind.The grapes come from two carefully selected clones - one South African and one French - which give the wine structure and complexity. After fermentation, the Cabernet Franc matured for twelve months in French oak barrels, almost half of which were new. The wine was naturally clarified and refined through two gentle removals during the ageing process.A powerful but accessible Cabernet Franc with ageing potential: already a pleasure now, it will gain in complexity and depth over the next five to eight years.This red wine goes particularly well with grilled lamb, braised beef or hearty mushroom dishes. The ideal drinking temperature is 16-18°C.

On the palate, the Rainbows End Cabernet Franc Limited Release reveals a complex variety of aromas of mulberries, pomegranate and fine fynbos notes, which give the wine an unmistakably South African flavor. The velvety mouthfeel and the long-lasting, multi-layered finish make this wine a special pleasure experience.For the limited release, the grapes are carefully processed after hand-picking and matured for 12 months in French oak barrels (50% new wood, 25% second fill, 25% third fill). This diversity contributes to the complex structure and character of this wine.During vinification, the wine undergoes a careful 12-month ageing phase in French oak barrels, 58% of which are new wood, 17% second-fill and 25% third-fill barrels. During maturation, the wine is racked twice to promote purity and complexity. After barrel maturation, the wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined, which preserves its natural characteristics and can lead to a slight cloudiness or sediment in the bottle.On the nose, the Rainbow's End Cabernet Sauvignon reveals seductive aromas of ripe plums and juicy blueberries, accompanied by subtle notes of regional fynbos vegetation and a fine hint of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full of powerful fruit, rounded off by a slightly herbal finish. Vinified with great care and composed of four classic Bordeaux grape varieties - Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec - this wine brings the depth and complexity of the terroir to the glass in perfect harmony.The dark soul of the wine is already evident on the nose: aromas of blackcurrant and dark cherries combine with a hint of damp earth - a fragrance reminiscent of cool forest moss and mineral soils. On the palate, the Mystical Corner impresses with a juicy, dense fruit core that is supported by fine, firm tannins. The structure is present, yet remains accessible.The grapes are carefully selected and vinified traditionally. The Rainbows End Syrah comes from the family winery of the same name in the picturesque Banghoek Valley in Stellenbosch and embodies the powerful yet elegant style of South African Syrah wines. The winery is known for its authentic, handcrafted red wines with character - and this is reflected in this Syrah.In the glass, the wine is an intense purple red, which already indicates its depth and concentration. Aromatic notes of rosemary, thyme and lavender unfold on the nose, accompanied by a hint of leather - an exciting, spicy and herbal aroma that leaves you wanting more. On the palate, the Rainbows End Syrah delights with ripe black plums, juicy blueberries and powerfully structured, yet supple tannins. The finish is long and juicy, with a pleasantly spicy aftertaste.The Syrah (Shiraz) - a blend of Argentinian clone 9 and French clones 174 and 99 - is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. The barrel ageing is divided into 35% new wood, 25% second fill, 25% third fill and 15% French oak barrels. During maturation, the wine was racked twice to promote clarity and structure. The Syrah () was bottled unfiltered and without fining, which emphasizes its natural depth and expressiveness. Fine sediment can therefore form in the bottle over time - a sign of quality craftsmanship.Rainbows End Syrah is an excellent accompaniment to rack of lamb with a herb crust, spicy braised beef dishes or Mediterranean cuisine with rosemary and thyme.
