The Hensel Höhenflug Cuvée red wine proves that the international grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah can also produce outstanding wines in Germany.Strictly selected grapes from the estate's best vineyards are blended together to create this cuvée. The Knipser Cuvée X from the Knipser winery impresses with a multi-faceted bouquet with spicy notes of cassis, tobacco, coffee and cedar. On the palate, the dry composition of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc is dense and intense, with ripe, perfectly integrated tannins and impressive length.The grapes grow in the best vineyards of the Knipser winery in the Palatinate, which are characterized by limestone. Johannes Landerer has stood for innovative and high-quality viticulture for several years, and his red wines, white wines and rosé wines leave an impression on connoisseurs.The Landerer Insider Cuvée Rot is a creation of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The latter grape variety in particular shows exceptional qualities in the Kaiserstuhl, the warmest region in Germany with vineyards characterized by volcanic rock.The red wine has a fascinatingly complex aroma of dark fruits such as cherries and blackcurrants. There is also a great spiciness, fine roasted aromas and nuances of nougat chocolate that round off the bouquet.On the palate, this dry red wine from the Kaiserstuhl is powerful and dense, with beautifully integrated, soft tannins and a noticeable spiciness.
