The Baglio Gibellina Passimiento is an exceptional composition of flavors from Baglio Gibellina, the traditional Sicilian winery.The Nero d'Avola and Frappato grape varieties come from the province of Trapani and form the basis for this red wine. The Frappato grapes are harvested as soon as they are ripe, while the Nero d'Avola grapes are only picked when the berries are already slightly dry. This unusual combination produces a dark red wine with a characterful bouquet of raisins and floral influences.The silky taste of melt-in-the-mouth chocolate and stewed berries has already won over the palates of numerous jury members: Mundus Vini awarded the wine a silver medal in 2013, and in 2014 it received the IWC bronze medal and a Falstaff rating of "Very good".At a drinking temperature of around 16-18°C, this Sicilian red wine is the perfect accompaniment to pasta dishes or aromatic cheeses

Der Camivini Tank Nº 26 Nero d'Avola Appassimento IGT aus Sizilien wird aus der für Sizilien typischen Rebsorte Nero d'Avola hergestellt. Von den Einheimischen wird diese Rebsorte „Principe Siciliano“ (sizilianischer Prinz) genannt. Der Ausbau erfolgt im hölzernem Gärtank. In der Nase Aromen von Frucht und Mandeln. Am Gaumen ist der italienische Rotwein leicht und trocken mit Aromen von Rosinen, Backpflaumen und mediterranen Gewürzen. Der lange Abgang hat eine dezente Schokoladennote.Das besondere an diesem Appassimento ist, dass die Trauben direkt am Rebstock trocknen. Sie werden erst geerntet, wenn sie den Großteil des Wassers verloren haben. So entsteht eine dichte und intensive Aromatik mit einer leichten Rosinennote und harmonischer Restsüße. Diese Methode wird TANK-Verfahren genannt - eine neue Auslegung des Appassimento-Verfahrens. Beim klassischen Appassimento-Verfahren trocknen die reifen und gesunden Trauben auf luftigen Gestellen oder in gut belüfteten Kisten.Der kraftvolle Nero d'Avola passt gut zu kräftigen Wildgerichten, Braten und gut gereiftem Käse.

Curatolo Arini Paccamora Nero d'Avola IGP 2024

Das italienische Weingut Curatolo Arini, das in Marsala seinen Sitz hat, nutzt seinen Weinberg in Favara San Cataldo um die Rebsorte Nero d'Avola anzubauen. Der Weinberg liegt etwa 500 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel und ist nach Süden ausgerichtet. Sein Boden besteht aus Lehm und Sand. Die Nero d'Avola Traube, von Einheimischen auch "Principe Siciliano" (sizilianischer Fürst) genannt, ist die bedeutenste Rebsorte Siziliens. Aus dieser Frucht ensteht der Curatolo Arini Paccamora Nero d'Avola. IGP.Nach dem Abbeeren und einer 6-tägigen Mazeration werden die Trauben sanft gepresst und bei kontrollierter Temperatur in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Der Wein reift noch einige Monate in Edelstahltanks, bevor er in Flaschen abgefüllt wird.Der italienische Rotwein ist Rubinrot und schimmert violett. Die Nase wird überwältigt mit Aromen von Veilchen, Kirschen, Pflaumen und weißem Pfeffer. Für einen vollen und runden Geschmack sorgen rote Früchte wie Kirschen und Beeren. Die gekonnt eingebundenen Tannine sind herrlich weich.
