Roda DOC Reserva 2021

An excellent vintage in Rioja and an outstanding Roda. The composition of 89% Tempranillo, a proportion of Graciano and Garnacha smells wonderfully of sweet cherries, black fruits and nuances of Mediterranean herbs. Added to this is the wonderfully integrated oak. The deep red Roda DOC Reserva is lush and full on the palate. Very fruity at the beginning, with enormous balance and finely polished tannins. The finish of this dry red wine is again characterized by great, fresh fruitiness.The grapes come from bush vines that are more than 30 years old, i.e. vines that have not undergone wire-frame training. The Spanish wine was matured for 14 months in barriques, with 40% new and 60% second-fill barrels being used. The wine then matured for 30 months in the bottle. Telmo Rodriguez Pegaso Pizarra 2022

The grapes for the Telmo Rodriguez Pegaso Pizarra come from vineyards located in the shadow of the La Paramera mountains. The bush vines in the used vineyards located in Cebreros are between 60 and 80 years old and form the basis for a Garnacha of great depth. The bouquet offers notes of blackberries, black cherries and balsamic aromas as well as earthy notes and mineral nuances. On the palate, the red wine is fleshy, juicy, medium-bodied and concentrated. The fine tannins are wonderfully integrated. We recommend decanting the garnet-red wine before drinking it so that it can develop its full quality. ‘Barrancos de Pizarra’ means steep slate slopes. The red wine reflects this terroir in an impressive, authentic manner. The Guv'nor Rosado

The Guv’nor Rosado has now completed the Guv’nor line from the Félix Solís estate in Spain with a rosé. The red and white wines, with their concentrated yet flavourful style, are already extremely successful, and this impressive rosé, consisting mainly of Garnacha and smaller percentages of Tempranillo and Bobal, follows this approach as well.The wine shimmers a delicate strawberry pink in the glass, offering notes of raspberries, nectarines and strawberries in its bouquet. Torremilanos Cyclo Ribera del Duero DO 2021

Dieser Rotwein aus der Ribera del Duero-Region vereint in sich einige Besonderheiten, die bei Genießerinnen und Genießern Eindruck hinterlassen werden. Der Cyclo vom Weingut Finca Torremilanos stammt von Rebstöcken, die zum Teil älter als 80 Jahre sind. Die Trauben für den spanischen Rotwein wachsen in Lagen in 1.000 Metern Höhe. Die großen Temperaturunterschiede zwischen Tag und Nacht lassen besonders aromatische Trauben heranreifen.Darüber hinaus reifte der Torremilanos Cyclo mehr als 20 Monate im Barrique aus französischer Eiche. Die Fässer wurden dabei in der hauseigenen Küferei der Familie Peñalba Lopez, den Besitzern des Weingutes, hergestellt. Cyclo – alles ist ein Kreislauf der Natur. Und die Finca Torremilanos hat den Anspruch, in diesen Kreislauf nur sehr zurückhaltend einzugreifen.So ist mit dem Torremilanos Cyclo eine herausragende Kreation aus 96% Tempranillo, 3% Garnacha und 1% Albillo entstanden. Im Glas ein dichtes Purpur mit violettem Schimmer. Das Bukett ist herrlich intensiv, mit Noten von schwarzen und blauen Beeren sowie Nuancen von Schokolade, Süßholz und Mokkabohne. Am Gaumen bietet dieser spanische Rotwein ein Aromenspiel, das an Intensität und Vielschichtigkeit schwer zu überbieten ist. Aromen von Brombeeren, Veilchen und Tabak, von schwarzen Beeren und Granatapfel ergeben ein faszinierendes Geschmackserlebnis. Dazu kommen die wunderbar integrierten, seidigen Tannine und der eindrucksvolle Tiefgang dieses Tempranillos aus Nordspanien.

Torres de Casta Rosado DO Catalunya 2025

Garnacha and Carinena are the two grape varieties that give the Torres de Casta Rosado DO Catalunya its special character. The grapes are crushed for 24 hours to extract as much red coloring as possible. In the glass, the dry rosé is a bright, shiny raspberry pink with fine reddish-red reflections.On the nose, fruity aromas of ripe wild berries (blueberries, strawberries), cherry jam and some pomegranate blend with notes of creamy butter caramel, green coffee beans and marzipan. On the palate, this vegan wine from Spain impresses with plenty of juicy fruit and balanced acidity. Both grape variety aromas are present.The Torres de Casta Rosado DO Catalunya goes well as an aperitif, with traditional Spanish tapas, sausage and ham, juicy vegetable casseroles or fresh pasta.
