Der Antiche Terre Valpolicella DOC Superiore ist eine Rotwein Cuvée, die aus den für Venetien typischen Rebsorten Corvina Veronese, Corvinone und Rondinella gekeltert wird. Ein Superiore, der sich dunkel und rubinrot im Glas präsentiert und den sommerlichen Geruch und Geschmack von Kirschen herausstechen lässt. Haben Sie sich schonmal gefragt, was Superiore bedeutet ? Superiore ist ein Wein, der in Qualität und Anforderungen über dem normalen Standard liegt.Das Weingut Antiche Terre brachte mit diesem Valpolicella einen leichten angenehmen Wein auf den Markt. Die Trauben werden von Hand geerntet. Nach der Gärung folgt die Reifung in Eichenfässern und später in der Flasche. Zu den fruchtigen Aromen von Kirsche gesellen sich andere roten Früchte und ein Hauch von Gewürzen. Am Gaumen ist der Wein weich mit abgerundeten Tanninen. Antiche Terre Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore 2021

Können, Leidenschaft und Arbeit lassen auf dem Weingut Antiche Terre den Antiche Terre Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Superiore entstehen. Umgeben von Terrassen voller Weinberge am Rande von Valpolicella hat der bekannte Rotwein seinen Ursprung. Corvina Veronese, Corvinone und Rondinelle Trauben werden nach Tradition vollständig von Hand geerntet, um die Pflanzen so wenig wie möglich zu belasten und die Qualität der Trauben intakt zu halten.Nach einer sorgfältigen Pressung der Trauben und 10 tägiger Gärung bei 25°C wird der Wein gefiltert und in Edelstahltanks gelagert. Es folgt eine für den Ripasso typische zweite Gärung auf dem Trester des Amarone. Diese dauert 4-5 Tage. Danach wird der Wein für 12 Monate auf französischer Eiche ausgebaut.Im Glas leuchtet dieser komplexe Rotwein in einer tiefen rubinroten Farbe. In der Nase zeigen sich fruchtige Noten von Kirschen, Schokolade und frischen Kräutern. Ein vollends strukturierter Wein mit einem vollen und weichen Geschmack und einer perfekten Balance zwischen Tanninen und Säuren.

Der Tommasi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG ist eine Cuvée aus vier Valpolicella-Rebsorten. So ist er aus Corvina Veronese, Rondinella, Corvinone und Molinara gekeltert. Für diesen Amarone verwendet das Weingut Tommasi Viticoltori ausschließlich die am besten ausgereiften Cluster und lässt die Trauben über den Winter in offenen Regalen trocknen. Danach reift der Wein drei Jahre in Eichenfässern und ein Jahr in der Flasche.Dadurch leuchtet dieser Wein im Glas in einem tiefen Rubinrot und hat ein intensives Bouquet sowie einen vollmundigen Geschmack. Er duftet nach Schwarzbeeren, Kaffee, Tabak und einem Hauch Vanille und Bitterschokolade. This wine shows an excellent fullness, majestic aromas and an outstanding balance among all components, giving it ideal potential for prolonged ageing. The Zenato Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is a sensational masterpiece of taste and fragrance. The Amarone has an impressive elegance, ripe fruit and an inviting bouquet. It is ruby-red in colour and shows fine hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, the wine is impressively powerful, with warm, rich nuances of wild cherry and chocolate. The Amarone is a little jewel in the range of Zenato wines. It is made of the excellent Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta and Croatina grapes, which come from the Valpolicella Classico region from the municipalities of Sant'Ambrogio, Negrar, Pedemonte, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano and Marano. The grapes are harvested and picked by hand and subsequently dried for a period of three months. As a consequence, much of the liquid evaporates, resulting in berries that are extremely rich in sugar. After fermentation, the wine matured for 30 months in oak casks and for a further 12 months in the bottle.

The Zenato winery uses Corvina Veronese, Rondinella and Molinara grapes for this Italian cuvée.This dry rosé impresses with its delicate pink color and fresh, fruity bouquet. Its fragrance combines aromas of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, lychees and rhubarb with a hint of rosehip. A fine fruit acidity is noticeable on the palate. Thanks to this harmony of freshness and fruitiness, this rosé wine is the perfect summer wine.This rosé wine from Italy is particularly enjoyable at a drinking temperature of 10 to 12 °C. Zenato Ripassa della Valpolicella DOC 0,375 l halbe Flasche 2020

Zenato gives the name “Ripassa” to this wine, which shares many of the characteristics of our Amarone.As soon as the fermentation is completed of the dried grapes for the Amarone, selected lots of Valpolicella are then “re-passed” on the Amarone pomace, thus initiating a second fermentation which increases slightly the alcoholic content and gives the wine deeper colour, increased extract, and more complex aromas.After six months’ bottle-ageing, the result is a rounded, velvet-textured wine with rich, complex aromas of berries and an impressively lengthy finish that seems to linger forever.Ripassa represents one of the most important milestones in Zenato’s winemaking evolution.

Zenato Valpolicella Superiore 2021

The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance).This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.
