Coto de Imaz Reserva

The Coto de Imaz Reserva has a brick-red color with orange hues typical of Rioja. On the palate, delicate notes of berries and jam dominate, wrapped in smoky, spicy aromas and hints of vanilla. This red wine is finely balanced with noticeable yet incredibly soft and mellow tannins and an intense, complex structure. The finish is long-lasting and elegant.The grapes come primarily from the clay soils of the Rioja Alta, but also from the limestone soils of the Rioja Alavesa. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by 16 to 18 months of aging in American oak barrels. The Coto de Imaz Reserva then matures for at least two more years in the bottle before being released for sale.It pairs excellently with game dishes, confit de canard, grilled red meat, or ham. It is also wonderful with medium-aged, not-too-sharp cheeses.

El Coto Blanco

Der El Coto Blanco stammt aus der angesehenen Bodega El Coto de Rioja, die für ihre authentischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Weine bekannt ist. Als einer der beliebtesten Weißweine der Region vereint er die typischen Eigenschaften der Rioja: Frische, Fruchtigkeit und eine harmonische Balance. Dieser Wein wird überwiegend aus der Viura-Traube gekeltert, einer der charakteristischen weißen Rebsorten der Rioja. Die Trauben stammen aus sorgfältig ausgewählten Lagen mit kalkhaltigen Böden, die dem Wein seine feine Mineralität verleihen. Nach der Lese werden die Trauben schonend gepresst und temperaturkontrolliert in Edelstahltanks vergoren. Dieser Ausbau bewahrt die Frische und Fruchtaromen des Weins, während die natürliche Säure für Lebendigkeit sorgt. Der El Coto Blanco zeigt sich im Glas in einem leuchtenden Strohgelb mit grünlichen Reflexen. Das Bouquet ist frisch und einladend mit Aromen von Zitrusfrüchten, grünem Apfel und weißen Blüten, ergänzt durch feine Kräuternoten.Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Wein lebhaft und ausgewogen. Die frische Säure und die saftige Frucht sorgen für ein angenehmes Mundgefühl. Eine dezente Mineralität verleiht ihm zusätzliche Struktur, bevor er in einem klaren, erfrischenden Abgang ausklingt.Dieser vielseitige Weißwein ist der perfekte Begleiter zu leichten Speisen. El Coto Crianza DOC

The El Coto Crianza is an authentic representative of the Rioja tradition, a dry red wine with an intense ruby red color from the famous Tempranillo grape.The perfect combination of red berries and the fine vanilla nuances from the barrique ageing.Soft tannins and excellent structure. Long finish, accompanied by fresh fruit. Not too complex, very harmonious and soft.The grapes for El Coto Crianza DOC come from the chalky soils of Rioja Alavesa. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for between 12 and 14 months in new 225-liter American barrique barrels before being bottled and aged in the bottle for at least another 6 months.It is an ideal accompaniment to tapas, lamb, grilled meat or spicy vegetable dishes.

El Coto Rosado

El Coto Rosado has a typical, attractive and intense rosé color in the glass. An elegant and aromatic wine from Spain, reminiscent of fresh raspberries and caramel. This rosé wine from the Rioja region is fresh and fruity on the palate.The vines grow on chalky soils in the Rioja Alavesa. After harvesting, the grapes are first macerated on their skins for 48 hours. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for around 15 days. After blending the two grape varieties, the rosé wine matures for some time in stainless steel tanks before being bottled and released for sale.Enjoy the dry El Coto Rosado as an aperitif, with tapas with fish and seafood or with Mediterranean rice dishes.

El Coto Verdejo Blanco DOCa

El Coto Verdejo Blanco is a fresh white wine from the Rioja DOCa in Spain, produced by the El Coto de Rioja winery. Although the Verdejo grape variety is typically associated with the Rueda region, this wine shows that it also produces excellent results in Rioja.The Verdejo grapes for this wine come from carefully selected vineyards in the DOCa Rioja, one of Spain's best-known wine regions. After harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve the characteristic aromas of the grape variety.In the glass, El Coto Verdejo Blanco is a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it develops intense aromas of green apple, citrus fruit and fresh herbs, typical of the Verdejo grape. On the palate, the white wine is lively and refreshing with a well-balanced acidity and a pleasant, fruity finish.El Coto Verdejo Blanco is an excellent accompaniment to light starters, seafood, grilled fish and summer salads. It is also ideal as an aperitif.For optimum enjoyment, we recommend serving this Verdejo well chilled at 8 to 10 °C.?
