El Coto Verdejo Blanco is a fresh white wine from the Rioja DOCa in Spain, produced by the El Coto de Rioja winery. Although the Verdejo grape variety is typically associated with the Rueda region, this wine shows that it also produces excellent results in Rioja.

The Verdejo grapes for this wine come from carefully selected vineyards in the DOCa Rioja, one of Spain's best-known wine regions. After harvesting, the grapes are gently processed and fermented at controlled temperatures to preserve the characteristic aromas of the grape variety.

In the glass, El Coto Verdejo Blanco is a pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. On the nose, it develops intense aromas of green apple, citrus fruit and fresh herbs, typical of the Verdejo grape. On the palate, the white wine is lively and refreshing with a well-balanced acidity and a pleasant, fruity finish.

El Coto Verdejo Blanco is an excellent accompaniment to light starters, seafood, grilled fish and summer salads. It is also ideal as an aperitif.

For optimum enjoyment, we recommend serving this Verdejo well chilled at 8 to 10 °C.?

El Coto Rosado has a typical, attractive and intense rosé color in the glass. An elegant and aromatic wine from Spain, reminiscent of fresh raspberries and caramel. This rosé wine from the Rioja region is fresh and fruity on the palate.The vines grow on chalky soils in the Rioja Alavesa. After harvesting, the grapes are first macerated on their skins for 48 hours. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for around 15 days. After blending the two grape varieties, the rosé wine matures for some time in stainless steel tanks before being bottled and released for sale.Enjoy the dry El Coto Rosado as an aperitif, with tapas with fish and seafood or with Mediterranean rice dishes.

Pedro Escudero Valdelagunde Cuvée Especial Verdejo DO is an intense, rich wine, in which the flavours of stone fruit (peach, apricot) predominate. Spicy notes appear, lightly, with a touch of vanilla from the oak barrels, accompanying the characteristic, bitter almond aftertaste of a Verdejo wine.This wine has been made exclusively from Verdejo grapes harvested from vineyards of the Bodegas Pedro Escudero, rooted in the rocky lands of the Fuente Elvira vineyard in the village La Seca. Part of the wine is fermented in stainless steel vats, part is a maceration most, other part has paralysed the fermentation and the last part in French and American oak casks.

The El Coto Crianza is an authentic representative of the Rioja tradition, a dry red wine with an intense ruby red color from the famous Tempranillo grape.The perfect combination of red berries and the fine vanilla nuances from the barrique ageing.Soft tannins and excellent structure. Long finish, accompanied by fresh fruit. Not too complex, very harmonious and soft.The grapes for El Coto Crianza DOC come from the chalky soils of Rioja Alavesa. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for between 12 and 14 months in new 225-liter American barrique barrels before being bottled and aged in the bottle for at least another 6 months.It is an ideal accompaniment to tapas, lamb, grilled meat or spicy vegetable dishes.
