Part of the Biscardo Passo trilogy is the Mabis Biscardo Rosapasso Pinot Nero Rosato IGT Veneto. A tasty rosé whose Pinot Nero vines grow on particularly fertile soils. The vineyards are located in a region of volcanic origin and are therefore rich in minerals and clay. This gives the grapes inimitable characteristics compared to the worldwide production of Pinot Nero.

The grapes are gently pressed to produce a pure must. This is followed by cold maceration before fermentation. In this way, the primary aromas are extracted more easily and efficiently from the skin of the berries. The subsequent fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The Italian wine then also matures in stainless steel tanks, where the grape juice matures on its own yeast.

This wonderful Rosapasso rosé shines brightly in the glass. Its bouquet is fruity with elegant aromas of wild berries and cherries. The taste of the Mabis Biscardo Rosapasso Pinot Nero Rosato Veneto IGT is spicy, soft and harmonious, with a pleasant finish reminiscent of lime zest.

This dry Pinot Nero rosé is a structured, fresh and inviting wine that is the perfect accompaniment to starters, fish dishes, white meat, risotto and cheese.

Die italienische Familie Biscardo betreibt seit mehr als 100 Jahren erfolgreich Weinanbau in der größten Weinregion Italiens: in Venetien. Hinter der Kollektion Mabis stehen die Brüder Maurizio und Martino Biscardo, die den Familienbetrieb von Soave aus, der berühmten kleinen Stadt in der Provinz Verona, führen. Die ersten Buchstaben ihrer Vor- und Zunamen ergeben den Namen von Mabis.

Weine von Mabis sind bekannt für ihre hohe Qualität und Zugänglichkeit sowie ihr ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Natürlich setzen die Winzer dabei vornehmlich auf die Rebsorten, die ihre Heimatregion auszeichnen. So prägt Trebbiano di Lugana als autochthone Rebsorte Norditaliens den Mabis Morena Lugana DOC. Die Rebsorten Corvina aus der Talebene von Verona, Rondinella, ebenfalls aus dem Veneto, und Molinara, deren Hauptanbaufläche in der Nähe des Gardasees liegt, verleihen dem Mabis Amarone della Valpolicella Classico seinen einzigartigen Geschmack. This top wine from Veneto has an intense, garnet red color. The grape varieties Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara, which are characteristic of the region, give the wine its unique taste. Intense and persistent cherry aromas on the nose. On the palate, it is velvety, slightly bitter and reminiscent of cherry and bitter almonds. Incidentally, the Italian "amaro" means bitter. The grapes ripen on the hills of the small villages around Verona at an altitude of 150 to 400 meters above sea level. They are harvested by hand, usually at dawn or in the evening. This prevents the harvested grapes from being exposed to excessive heat and losing freshness.The quality of the grape skin is particularly important for Amarone, as it determines the tannins, color and flavor intensity. Incidentally, legend has it that a cellar worker in the 1930s actually wanted to create Recioto, but forgot the wine in the barrels. Fermentation continued and the sugar was converted into alcohol - which also explains the bitterness.Mabi's Amarone della Valpolicella Classico is an excellent accompaniment to red meat and game.

An seinem auffallenden Etikett ist der Mabis Biscardo Enigma Appassimento Sangiovese Rubicone IGT erkennbar. Enigma (dt. rätselhaft) hat das italienische Weingut Mabis seinen Appassimento benannt. Unter Leitung der Familie Biscardo und einigen Landwirtschaftsbetrieben der Emilia-Romagna wurde der Rotwein mit dem Hinweis an alle Weingenießer und Appassimento Liebhaber erschaffen, diesen mystischen Wein mit geweckter Neugier zu entdecken.Die Sangiovese Trauben, aus denen der Rotwein gekeltert wird, werden im Spätherbst von Hand geerntet. Die Beeren sind zu diesem Zeitpunkt teilweise getrocknet. Um den Früchten weiterhin Wasser zu entziehen, sodass Zucker und Extrakt konzentrierter werden, wird das Trocknungsverfahren fortgefahren. Ende Dezember erfolgt eine langsame Mazeration bei kontrollierten und niedrigen Temperaturen. Bis zum März reift der Wein auf der Hefe, wovon 30% in Eichenfässern. Wie der Name des Weins und das Herstellungsverfahren uns verraten, wird der Enigma nach dem Appassimentoverfahren vinifiziert.Der intensiv schwarze Mabis Biscardo Enigma Appassimento Sangiovese Rubicone IGT verführt mit harmonischen Aromen von roten Früchten und schwarzen Beeren. Die Sinne nehmen einen gut balancierten Wein mit weichen und süßen Tanninen wahr.

Mit seinem Chateau d’Esclans setzt er seit vielen Jahren Maßstäbe in der internationalen Weinwelt und wird vor allem für seine Rosé-Kreationen (z.B. Whispering Angel) bewundert. Nun kommt der Chateau d’Esclans The Pale hinzu. Und wieder gelingt es Lichine einen Rosé anzubieten, der in jeder Hinsicht heraussticht und Eindruck hinterlässt.Das Bukett ist herrlich fruchtig-frisch und intensiv. Es bietet Noten von geschnittenem Apfel, Pfirsich und pinker Grapefruit, von Zitrone und Wassermelone sowie Nuancen von Ananas. Am Gaumen ist der knochentrockene Rosé weich und bemerkenswert aromatisch. Genießerinnen und Genießer können sich auf ein tolles Aromenspiel von Maracuja,  Minze und Limette freuen.
