Print product information sheet

The Baglio Gibellina Passimiento comes from the province of Trapani, the Western point of Sicily. This is the heart of the Sicilian viticulture. The blend of Nero D'Avola and Frappato demonstrates the distinctive quality of the wines from this region.

The wine shines dark red. On the nose, full of character, with strong notes of red berries. The palate is warm, full and harmonious. The soft, elegant tannins are harmoniously integrated. An outstanding composition. The freshness of the Frappato grapes and the intensity of the Nero d'Avola grapes together offer this special taste experience. Fans of Ripasso and Amarone will be delighted by this wine.

The Frappato grapes are harvested immediately when ripe. The typical freshness is preserved in this way. In contrast, the Nero d'Avola grapes are harvested very lately, the berries are already slightly dehydrated. The musts are then composed. The wine aged for several months in stainless steel tanks.

Enjoy the Baglio Gibellina Passimiento with pasta or not too mature cheeses.
