Allegranza Tempranillo is a wine made from 100% Tempranillo grapes from the La Mancha region. This Spanish region is known for its optimal ripeness and uniformity in quality. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks and then matured for approx. 3 months in French oak barrels.The Allegranza Tempranillo has a ruby red color and is reminiscent of aromas of dark cherries and blackberry jam on the nose. There are also notes of exotic herbs and eucalyptus. It is wonderfully smooth and medium-bodied on the palate. A beautiful vanilla note and the taste of delicate milk chocolate pamper the palate.This red wine is an excellent accompaniment to tapas, grilled meat, lamb chops or an aromatic paella with chorizo. The Barrica Monastrell Syrah comes from the Barahonda winery in the Spanish wine-growing region of Yecla. The blend consists of 75% Monastrell and 25% Syrah. The vines of this red wine are 40 to 45 years old and grow on calcareous soils at an altitude of between 500 and 800 meters. The Barahonda Barrica Monastrell Syrah has a ruby red color that shines bright and clear in the glass. The nose reveals an intense bouquet of ripe fruit, spices, light vanilla notes and some cedar wood. A strong minerality dominates the palate. A wine full of juice and power with notes of pepper and cloves. This Crianza comes from the Bierzo region and is made from 100% Mencia grapes, an autochthonous grape variety from northwestern Spain. In recent years, more and more wonderfully elegant wines have been produced in this emerging region, one of which is the Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza. The grapes for this wine come from bush vines that are between 65 and 85 years old and grow mainly on clay and slate soils. The vineyards are situated about 450 to 600 metres above sea level. Harvesting is done by hand. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks and concrete barrels for almost 50 days before it matured for another 12 months in French oak casks.The Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza is a deep cherry-red in the glass with light glints on the rim. The wine is redolent of ripe red and black fruit, along with noticeable mineral aromas and fine wooden notes. It is sumptuous, fresh and fleshy on the palate, with silky, supple tannins. The finish is characterised by notes of peppermint, once again underlining the wine’s special aromas.The Armas de Guerra Mencia Crianza is currently at the peak of its maturity but can also be enjoyed over the next three to four years. It is an ideal accompaniment to hearty meat dishes.

Der Paixar von der Bodegas Luna Beberide ist ein Rotwein aus der Region Bierzo im Norden von Spanien. Bodegas Luna Beberide ist eines der Vorzeige-Weingüter der Region und produziert mit dem Paixar einen Spitzenwein, der jedes Jahr von Kritikern hoch bewertet wird. In jedem Jahr leicht unterschiedlich besteht der Wein zu mehr als 90% aus der Rebsorte Mencia, die in der Region Bierzo vornehmlich beheimatet ist. Die Reben wachsen in nach Süden ausgerichteten Weinbergen in einer Höhe von 700 bis 1000 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Für die Reifung werden französische Eichenfässern verwendet. Der Paixar duftet herrlich nach Brombeere und Pflaume mit leichten Anklängen von schwarzem Pfeffer. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein gehaltvoll und deutlich mineralisch.
