La Bri Viognier
La Bri Viognier - floral elegance and exotic finesse in a limited editionLa Bri Viognier is a rare white wine from Franschhoek in South Africa that delights with its elegant balance of freshness, richness and aromatic depth. Aromas of ripe peach, lychee and a hint of fine oak spice characterize the fragrant bouquet. On the palate, it impresses with restrained finesse, lively acidity and a silky texture - a Viognier that shows all its class. The grapes were selected by hand from just nine rows of vines to ensure the highest quality. After cold storage overnight, the grapes were pressed whole. The must was transferred to a 600-liter barrel made of second-fill French oak and matured there for 12 months to develop depth and complexity.La Bri Viognier is not a loud aroma bomber, but a restrained, stylish white wine with precision and character. Exotic fruit meets structure and freshness - ideal for connoisseurs who appreciate subtle elegance. The Ixia viridiflora, a rare Cape flower with a bright green color, adorns the label and symbolizes the uniqueness and rarity of this Viognier - a wine like the plant: extraordinary, sensitive and rewarding.Perfect with Asian dishes with a slight spiciness, chicken fricassee with apricots, goat's cheese or grilled peach with ricotta.Limited bottling: only 786 bottles - get yours now!

Creation Estate Viognier
The Creation Estate Viognier is bursting with notes of white peach, apricot and ripe pear, says Christine Rudman in John Platter's Wine Guide. She awards a proud 4.5 stars (90 points) for this white wine from South Africa. The bouquet of this Viognier from the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley is enriched by subtle notes of nutmeg. On the palate, the Creation Estate Viognier is full and fruity, with a pleasantly soft mouthfeel, crisp minerality and beautifully integrated acidity.Jean-Claude and Carolyn Martin are behind Creation Wines. The success story of the winery in the Walker Bay region began in 2002. Creation Wines was the first winery to plant Viognier in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley, where the grapes ripen on the coolest, south-facing slopes. The slow ripening process ensures that the grapes gain aromas. At the same time, the fresh acidity is retained.Try this white wine, which is deliberately not matured in wood, at a drinking temperature of 10 to 12 degrees. Ideal accompaniments are creamy pasta variations or a salad with chicken, mango and coriander.
