Die Trauben für den Luis Canas Crianza Rioja DOCa stammen von Reben, die durchschnittlich 30 Jahre alt sind. Nach strenger Kontrolle reifen sie für 12 Monate in gebrauchten französischen und amerikanischen Eichenholzfässern. Der kirschrote Crianza ist in der Nase fruchtig mit Aromen von Erdbeere und Banane. Hinzu kommen Noten von Vanille, Zedernholz, abgefallenen Blättern und balsamische Aromen. Am Gaumen ist der Rotwein dicht mit kräftigen, aber runden Tanninen und zeigt sich saftig mit viel Frucht und einer feinen Säure.

The El Coto Crianza is an authentic representative of the Rioja tradition, a dry red wine with an intense ruby red color from the famous Tempranillo grape.The perfect combination of red berries and the fine vanilla nuances from the barrique ageing.Soft tannins and excellent structure. Long finish, accompanied by fresh fruit. Not too complex, very harmonious and soft.The grapes for El Coto Crianza DOC come from the chalky soils of Rioja Alavesa. After pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for between 12 and 14 months in new 225-liter American barrique barrels before being bottled and aged in the bottle for at least another 6 months.It is an ideal accompaniment to tapas, lamb, grilled meat or spicy vegetable dishes.
