The Viura grape used in Hacienda Lopez de Haro Blanco is one of the most frequently cultivated white wine varieties in northern Spain. The bouquet has notes of ripe fruit, dates and banana. The intense yellow white wine is fresh and fleshy on the palate. It lingers for a long time.

This white wine matured for two months in French oak barrels, which gives it a special complexity.

Die Bodega Classica liegt im Zentrum des spanischen Weinbaugebietes Rioja Alta. Sie befindet sich auf einem wunderschönen Hügel nahe der historischen Stadt San Vincente de la Sonsierra, die eine lange Weinbautradition hat. Die Bodega Classica setzt beim Anbau vorwiegend auf die Tempranillo-Rebe, die auf den ton- und kalkhaltigen Böden beste Voraussetzungen findet. Wie der Name schon aussagt, hat sich die Bodega Classica der traditionellen Weinproduktion verschrieben. Die Behälter für die Herstellung haben sehr breite Öffnungen, die das frühere Keltern in offenen Behältern imitieren.

Die Weinberge sind im Norden von den Toloño Bergen geschützt, während im Süden der Fluss Ebro eine natürliche Grenze zieht. Aus dem Ebro bezieht die Bodega Classica auch das wichtige Wasser für die Bewässerung der Anbauflächen. Die Weine sind klassisch, elegant und ausdrucksstark, dabei aber sehr zugänglich. Heute gehört die Bodega Classica zur Vintae-Gruppe, die 1999 auf Initiative von José Miguel Arambarri Terrero, Unternehmer aus La Rioja, gegründet wurde.
