Manz Handwerk Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir dry

The top Rheinhessen winery Manz regularly delights the wine world with its outstanding wines, which always impress with their price-pleasure ratio. The Manz Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir from the "Handwerk" range is a perfect example of this.

The Blanc de Noir (a white wine made from red grapes) shimmers in the glass in a light yellow with delicate reddish nuances. The pure Pinot Noir has a seductive aroma of pomegranate and apricot, wonderfully combined with fine nutty aromas. Subtle notes of gooseberry also enrich the bouquet.

On the palate, the Manz Handwerk Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir is invigoratingly fresh and fruity, with an animating acidity. The finish lingers longer, with nuanced aromas of jasmine and a pleasant minerality that comes from the limestone marl soils.

Falstaff awarded a proud 91 points for this special white wine from Germany and this verdict: "A light straw yellow, really a white wine color. Red berry aromas, slightly balsamic, dried lemon peel. In the mouth, the wine seems to be made from a single mold, fermentation carbon dioxide and fine acidity combine to create an impression of slender elegance, the final fruit is clear and unapologetically precise, subtle mineral notes enrich the palette."

Enjoy the Blanc de Noir well chilled at a drinking temperature of 8 to 10 degrees. Truly the perfect summer wine! And a fantastic accompaniment to light cuisine, especially fish and pasta variations.
