The Armas de Guerra Rosado comes from the Bierzo region in northwestern Spain. It is made from the Mencia grape variety, which is cultivated exclusively in northwestern and central Spain. The wine is a light cherry-red in the glass. On the nose, it offers lovely notes of wildflowers and lavender in particular, underpinned by aromas of ripe red fruit. The palate is characterised by mineral notes and an abundance of fruit. A light spice in combination with a raspberry-like sweetness make the Armas de Guerra Rosado a silky, lively wine.This is a lovely, uncomplicated summer and terrace wine that also goes beautifully with light salads.
