The fruitiness of Protos Rosado is clearly in the foreground. Wonderful notes of strawberries, dried blackberries and sweet cherries can be detected on the nose and palate.

As you would expect from a premium producer from the Ribera del Duero, the Rosado already demonstrates the full expertise of the Spanish winery. Made from the Tempranillo grape variety, the Rosado has undergone a 16-hour cold maceration to allow the aromas typical of the grape variety to fully develop. The color is intense pink and the taste is fresh and very fruity, beautifully balanced, but not boring. The fine combination of fruit and acidity gives the Portos Rosado enough power and volume to pamper the taste buds with plenty of body and balance.

The Protos Rosado can be recommended without reservation with many sausage specialties, and is also an excellent choice with stews based on beans or lentils. This dry rosé wine is even an excellent accompaniment to grilled or roasted veal or lamb chops.

El Coto Rosado has a typical, attractive and intense rosé color in the glass. An elegant and aromatic wine from Spain, reminiscent of fresh raspberries and caramel. This rosé wine from the Rioja region is fresh and fruity on the palate.The vines grow on chalky soils in the Rioja Alavesa. After harvesting, the grapes are first macerated on their skins for 48 hours. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for around 15 days. After blending the two grape varieties, the rosé wine matures for some time in stainless steel tanks before being bottled and released for sale.Enjoy the dry El Coto Rosado as an aperitif, with tapas with fish and seafood or with Mediterranean rice dishes.

Mit dem Protos Roble beginnt die Linie der berühmten Protos Rotweine. Der zu 100% aus der Rebsorte Tinta del Pais, so nennt man die Sorte Tempranillo im Anbaugebiet Ribera del Duero, hergestellte Joven (Bezeichnung für den Jungwein eines spanischen Weingutes) lässt schon die Schaffenskraft der Bodega erkennen. Die entrappten Trauben wurden nach der Pressung ca. 12 Tage vergoren. Die Temperatur wurde dabei ständig überwacht. Anschließend verweilte der Wein für 6 Monate in amerikanischen Eichenfässern, um danach noch 6 Monate eine Flaschenreifung zu  erhalten, bevor er auf den Markt kam.Die Farbe des Protos Roble ist kirschrot und wirft violette Schatten. In der Nase duftet der Wein schön fruchtig und intensiv würzig ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Die festzustellenden Aromen von Blaubeere, Sauerkirsche und Waldfrüchten harmonieren mit leichten Noten von Vanille, Tabak und Kakao. Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Wein mit fester Struktur, kraftvoll saftig und rund. Wir empfehlen den Protos Roble leicht gekühlt bei 15 Grad zu genießen, dann bleiben die fruchtigen Noten erhalten und ein elegantes Geschmackserlebnis mit langem Abgang und sanften Tanninen entsteht.Nicht nur solo kann der Protos Roble überzeugen, auch als Essensbegleiter zu Salami oder Käse gefällt er sehr gut. Gerichte auf Tomatenbasis ergänzt er ebenso wie Pasta oder gefüllte Aubergine.
