The Raka Sauvignon Blanc impresses with its fresh fruit, lively acidity and clear aromas - a white wine full of character from the Western Cape in South Africa that brings pure joie de vivre to the glass. Made from 100% pure Sauvignon Blanc, it delights with its tropical nose, round mouthfeel and animating finish. Ideal for warm days, fresh dishes or as a soloist on the terrace.

The nose alone makes you want more: peach, passion fruit, guava and gooseberries characterize the aromatic bouquet. On the palate, the wine is fruity and full-bodied, with a fine hint of citrus and a refreshing, clear finish that lingers for a wonderfully long time.

The grapes for this wine were carefully harvested by hand, sorted and placed directly into the press, where they rested on their skins for 8 hours to extract their typical aromas in the best possible way. After pressing, the must was fermented at a controlled 16 °C with pure yeast cultures to preserve freshness and fruit. Extended ageing on the fine lees gives the wine additional volume. It then clarified naturally by gravity before being gently filtered and bottled.

Raka Sauvignon Blanc is the ideal accompaniment to seafood, sushi, light fish dishes or cold cuts. It also cuts an excellent figure with summer salads or simply as an aperitif.

The Raka Rosé brings a breath of fresh air to every glass - with its juicy fruit, fine structure and dry finish. Made from an elegant cuvée of Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, this South African rosé combines lightness with character. It comes from the Klein River Ward in the renowned Walker Bay region of the Western Cape - a coastal location known for cool nights and intense aromas in the grapes.In the glass, the Raka Rosé shines in an appetizing melon pink with a subtle orange shimmer - a play of colours that immediately makes you want to take the first sip. Lively notes of strawberry and cherry unfold on the nose, delicately accompanied by a hint of candy floss. On the palate, the wine is dry, animatingly fresh and slightly tangy, with a fruity finish and well-integrated acidity.The cuvée consists of selected lots of Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc - each pressed at only 6-15% to extract the delicate rosé aromas while maintaining the balance between freshness and structure. The style is modern, dry and fruity, yet clear and uncomplicated with South African charm.All grapes were carefully harvested by hand and gently pressed immediately after sorting. The maceration time was around 4 hours in order to achieve the desired color intensity and aroma. The juice was fermented with pure yeasts at a controlled temperature of around 16 °C to preserve the freshness and fruit. Before bottling, the wine clarified naturally by gravity and was then gently filtered.Served well chilled, this rosé is ideal with light dishes: whether seafood, summer pasta, antipasti or cold platters with ham and cheese - it is versatile and also cuts an excellent figure on its own as an aperitif or sundowner.
