The Lomond Sauvignon Blanc Semillon Viognier is a carefully composed blend that reflects the unique terroir of Cape Agulhas in South Africa. The combination of these three grape varieties creates a fascinating balance of freshness, structure and aromatic diversity.

In the glass, this white wine presents itself with a brilliant, clear hue and an olive-green rim. The bouquet seduces with intense aromas of Cape gooseberry and passion fruit, accompanied by floral nuances and subtle citrus notes. On the palate, it is elegant with ripe tropical fruit nuances and a hint of citrus blossom, leading to a long-lasting finish.

The grapes are harvested in the early hours of the morning to preserve their freshness and variety of aromas. After gentle pressing, cool fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. While the Sauvignon Blanc emphasizes the primary fruit, the Sémillon is matured for several months in oak barrels to give the wine additional depth and a gentle creaminess. The Viognier brings floral notes and a fine spiciness to the cuvée.

This white wine harmonizes perfectly with Asian dishes, fish and seafood, oysters or a classic bouillabaisse.

Beautifully clear with a distinctive green tinge. Hints of gooseberries, crushed nettle and grapefruit with lively acidity.Grapes were harvested early in the morning. After hand sorting the grapes, 6 hours skin contact was allowed at 10°C. The grapes were gently pressed and only free run juice was used to settle overnight. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature at 12.5°C. The wine spent 6 months on its lees before blending.Enjoy now or within 3-4 years of harvest.Serve with Mediterranean tomato based pasta dishes or lemon based roast chicken.
