Borgo Molino Motivo Asolo Prosecco Spumante Brut DOC

The grapes – of the local Glera variety - for the Borgo Molino Motivo Prosecco come from vineyards located on the slopes of the Colli Trevigiani. Only hand-selected grapes were used for this premium prosecco, which is a gorgeous straw-yellow in the glass, with a fine, long-lasting effervescence. The Borgo Molino Motivo offers noticeable and very fruity aromas of peach and ripe apples. On the palate, this marvellous sparkling wine is appealing, showing a fine elegance. It is a round and harmonious wine with a pleasant finish. The Borgo Molino Motivo Prosecco is traditionally enjoyed as an aperitif, but it also goes beautifully with starters and seafood.

Borgo Molino Motivo Cuvée Oro Prestige Spumante Brut
Borgo Molino’s Motivo Cuvée Oro Prestige Spumante Brut is made from Glera and Riesling. The grapes come from the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions, where the vineyards grow at elevations ranging from 30 to 150 meters above sea level on hilly sandstone soils with loamy, partly gravelly subsoil. After destemming, the grapes are gently pressed under a controlled atmosphere to prevent oxidation and unwanted bacterial contamination. The first fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 14 to 16 °C. The second fermentation takes place in a pressure tank using the Martinotti method and lasts at least 75 days. The spumante then ages in the bottle for another two to three weeks. On the nose, it reveals an intense, elegant, and persistent bouquet with fruity citrus notes and hints of tropical fruits. On the palate, the spumante is elegant and versatile, with fine, persistent bubbles, balanced acidity, and a pronounced mineral character. A pleasant freshness accompanies the long finish, leading to a delicately mineral-driven conclusion. The Motivo Cuvée Oro Prestige Spumante Brut is an excellent aperitif and pairs equally well with raw fish dishes, shellfish, white meat, and soups. It is also a versatile accompaniment to cheese or fried foods.

Creation Estate Sauvignon Blanc
The Creation Estate Sauvignon Blanc shines lemon yellow with a green shimmer in the glass. This white wine from South Africa stands out above all due to its impressive minerality. The cool vineyards of Creation Wines, located on a plateau in the Hemel-en-Aarde valley not far from the Atlantic, promote this mineral note. At the same time, the Sauvignon Blanc has a multi-faceted aroma of elderflower, papaya, cassis and passion fruit. Greg Mutambe also perceives these "seductive" notes in the bouquet and awards the Sauvignon Blanc 4 stars in John Platter's Wine Guide. Crisp on the palate, with wonderfully integrated acidity and minerality. The creation from six different Sauvignon Blanc clones grown by Creation Wines was deliberately not matured in wood. The minerality and fruitiness of the white wine from the Walker Bay region should be in the foreground.Try the refined Creation Estate Sauvignon Blanc with its great freshness, for example with sushi, goat's cheese, dishes with eggplants or a mussel pan. The ideal drinking temperature is 8 to 10 degrees.
