Im Norden Italiens, im Trentino, schreibt die Brennerei Marzadro seit 1949 eine eindrucksvolle Erfolgsgeschichte. Der Tresterbrand aus dem Trentino ist eine Komposition aus autochthonen roten und weißen Rebsorten der Region. 18 Monate reifte diese Sonderedition in kleinen Holzfässern, wobei Hölzer von Kirsche, Esche, Eiche und Robinie genutzt wurden. Das Besondere am Marzadro Le Diciotto Lune Riserva Botte Rum: Im Anschluss reifte der Grappa weitere 18 Monate in akribisch ausgewählten Rumfässern, die zum großen Teil aus Martinique, Barbados und Jamaika in der Karibik stammen.

Am Gaumen dicht, mit einer herrlichen Aromenvielfalt von Apfel und Birne, fein ausbalanciert durch Noten von Vanille und Haselnuss. Dazu kommen unterschwellige salzige Noten. Ein wenig Säure (Zitrus) verleiht dem Weißwein Frische und eröffnet das lange Finish.Der Cloudy Bay Chardonnay wurde 11 Monate lang im französischen Eichenfass ausgebaut, wobei zu 20% neue Fässer zum Einsatz kamen.Genießen Sie diese Kreation des renommierten Weinguts Cloudy Bay zum Beispiel zu einem feinen Arrangement von Ziegenkäse mit Baguette, Apfelmarmelade und Haselnüssen oder zu einer Scholle Müllerinart. Wichtig: Der Wein sollte nicht kühler als 12°C sein, sodass die Intensität der Aromen dieses neuseeländischen Chardonnays voll zur Entfaltung kommt.

The Marzadro Grappa Trentina Morbida is a wonderfully soft blend consisting of the Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grape varieties. The grappa was produced in discontinuous coppers using the meticulous Bagnomaria distillation method. After distillation, it matured for several months in barrels in which the Stravecchia Le Diciotto Lune grappa was previously aged. The distillate is rounded off by the breathing of the wood and the contact with oxygen, resulting in an aromatic and velvety grappa that has an intense and long-lasting taste.

Dieser Grappa aus Südtirol ist eine Sonderedition der international vielfach ausgezeichneten Brennerei Marzadro. Der Marzadro Le Diciotto Lune Riserva Botte Whisky ist eine Kreation aus autochthonen roten und weißen Rebsorten im Trentino im Norden Italiens. Marzadro hat diesen Grappa in kleinen Holzfässern ausgebaut, wobei Kirsch-, Eschen- und Eichenholz genutzt wurden sowie das Holz der Robinie.Anschließend reifte der italienische Tresterbrand in – mit der Erfahrung von Kennerinnen und Kennern ausgewählten – schottischen Fässern, die zuvor für die Veredelung von Whiskys genutzt wurden.  Dabei wurden für den Ausbau Fässer von Whiskys mit und ohne prägende Torf-Noten verwendet. Entsprechend duftet der Marzadro Le Diciotto Lune Riserva Botte Whisky intensiv fruchtig und würzig, typisch für hochwertigen Grappa von Marzadro. Hinzu kommen torfige Nuancen, die diesen Tresterbrand so unverwechselbar machen. Am Gaumen wunderbar weich, voll und harmonisch, mit den wärmenden Aromen von Eichenholz und unterschwelligen Vanille-Tönen.
