Originally from the Middle East, Syrah is now renowned worldwide, especially in regions with hotter climates where it reaches the finest results. The grape produces a wine of the highest quality in Sicily due to the intense sunlight and unique soils.

It goes well with vegetable and seasoned risottos, grilled red meats, smoked and herb cheeses.

Die früher nur zurückhaltend verwendete Traube Negroamaro findet hier die ideale Umgebung, um sortenrein hervorragende Weine hervorzubringen.Der charakteristische Duft nach roten Früchten und Johannisbeeren bereitet mit einer zarten Kräuternote sehr vielversprechend auf den ersten Schluck vor. Dieser ist weich, körperreich und mit einem Anklang an Schokolade fein akzentuiert. Die Tannine sind trotz ihrer starken Präsenz sehr angenehm. Auch der Nachklang kann durch ein langes Finale überzeugen.Die Rasse dieses Weines entfaltet sich am besten bei 16 bis 18 °C. Reichen Sie dazu gut gewürzte Vorspeisenplatten aus italienischen Köstlichkeiten, oder gönnen Sie sich elegante Fleischgerichte mit rustikalem Einschlag. Production area: San Marzano, Salento, Puglia. At almost 100 meters above the sea level, with a high average temperature and very few rainfall during the year. The soils are mainly composed by clay, with an average depth which reaches up to 1 meter.Harvest period: Second and third decade of August Vinification: Thermo-controlled maceration, followed by draining and soft pressing at the end of the alcoholic fermentation Maturation: In stainless-steel Deep ruby red colour with violet reflections, intense aroma, fruity with notes of prunes and cherry, spicy with rosemary and vanilla scent. Ego Bodegas Goru DOP

Der El Ego Bodegas Goru DOP duftet intensiv nach reifen roten Früchten. Noten von Pflaumenkompott und Blaubeermuffins sowie feine Nuancen von Nussschokolade und dezentes Süßholz prägen das Bouquet. Dazu kommen unterschwellige Röstaromen.Am Gaumen ist der Blend aus Monastrell, Syrah (Shiraz) und Petit Verdot angenehm cremig, frisch und fruchtbetont (Waldbeeren), mit geschmeidigen und reifen Tanninen. Im Glas zeigt sich dichtes Purpur mit violetten Reflexen. Vier Monate wird der spanische Rotwein im Barrique ausgebaut. Der El Goru vom Weingut Ego Boderas aus Jumilla ist ein hervorragender Begleiter zu Gegrilltem, Spanferkel und Hackfleischbällchen. Auch zu verschiedenen Käsesorten ist dieser trockene Rotwein ein echter Tipp.
