Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC

The grapes for the Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC come from the Murvonis and Porruddu vineyards. The soils from these vineyards consist of loamy clay and sandy marlstone, which provide freshness and elegance on the one hand and lend the wine complexity and structure on the other.

On the nose, a beautiful citrus fruit note and a scent of red grapefruit, complemented by notes of bread crust and various spices. Invigoratingly fresh on the palate, Olianas Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is a round, well-balanced wine. Serve this wine as an aperitif and your guests will be delighted. This Vermentino also goes very well with delicate fish dishes or medium-ripe cheese.

This white wine from Sardinia is redolent of grapefruit, orange blossoms and subliminally of nutmeg. The Santadi Villa Solais Vermentino di Sardegna is fresh and stimulating on the palate with a pleasant mineral note and mild acidity. The white wine is a blend consisting mainly of Vermentino (a grape typical of Sardinia) and a smaller percentage of Nuragus grapes (an autochthonous variety of Sardinia). The Solais Vermentino di Sardegna shines straw yellow with greenish and golden tints. The grapes were harvested by hand, and the wine was aged in stainless steel tanks. Enjoy it with pasta dishes with fish or white meat and, well-cooled, as an aperitif.

Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC
The Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC from the Sardinian region of Anfiteatro thrives in a valley that is exposed to the southern sun all day long. This provides the grapes with plenty of fruit, structure and complexity. The wind, which always prevails at the same time, provides a cooling balance. What is special about this red wine is its biodynamic approach. Neither enzymes nor pure yeasts are used during fermentation. Around a third of the must is fermented in amphorae on the skins for up to 25 days. This produces the intense dark red color. The wine is matured for around 8 months in second and third fill French oak barrels. In order to preserve the natural character of the wine, clarification was deliberately avoided. The nose reveals aromas of forest fruits and smoky notes. The Olianas Cannonau di Sardegna DOC is fresh, round and very lively on the palate. The well-integrated tannins and pleasant acidity are balanced and concentrated. We recommend this Cannonau with all kinds of strong starters. It is also an excellent accompaniment to many pasta variations.
