The Dolcetto for the Pio Cesare Dolcetto d'Alba DOC comes from the Italian municipalities of Treiso, Monforte d'Alba, Serralunga and Madonna Como, i.e. partly from the Barolo region and partly from the Barbaresco region. It is fermented exclusively in steel tanks for six to eight days to emphasize its freshness and fruitiness.

This dry red wine impresses with its delicious fruit, cherry, blueberry and blackberry aromas and violet notes and is seductive and juicy on the palate, with fine acidity.

Great in combination with mushroom risotto, a spaghetti carbonara, it also goes well with light meat dishes and soft cheeses.

Seit Generationen wird der Barolo aus Trauben verschiedener Regionen hergestellt. The Pio Cesare Barbera d'Alba DOC is a very classic, pure Barbera from Piedmont, some of whose grapes come from plots where the grapes for the famous Barolo also grow.
