The Poggio le Volpi Baccarossa Lazio Rosso is a bright ruby-red in the glass. Its wonderfully multi-layered bouquet offers notes of black ripe fruit, cherries, cloves, cocoa powder, Mediterranean woods and graphite, complemented by balsamic nuances. This outstanding red wine from Lazio is velvety and elegant on the palate, with ripe, beautifully integrated tannins, a great balance and depth and a long finish as well.

This pure varietal Nero Buono grows on volcanic soils. The wine matured for at least 12 months in barriques and another three to four months in the bottle. The Poggio Le Volpi estate is an icon of viticulture in Lazio, bringing a new lustre to this venerable wine-growing region. Numerous renowned wine critics from all over the world regularly attest that the Poggio le Volpi wines are of highest quality.
