Betont auffällig sehen Sie die Jahreszahl 1954 auf dem Etikett des Paradiso 1954 Primitivo IGP Puglia stehen. 1954 ist das Gründungsjahr des Weingutes Paradiso. Gelegen in der süditalienischen Region Apulien, die auf der Landkarte den Absatz des Stiefels formt, finden wir das Gut. Geleitet vom Enkel des Gründers präsentiert uns die Winzerfamilie einen paradiesischen Primitivo.Böden und Klima bilden das perfekte Terroir für die Reben. Geerntet wird in der letzten Augustwoche, wenn die Trauben voll gereift und sehr aromatisch sind. Nach dem Entrappen folgt eine sanfte Zerkleinerung und eine 15-20-tägige Mazeration mit Gärung in Edelstahlbehältern bei kontrollierter Temperatur. Anschließend wird die Maische ausgepresst. Der daraus resultierende Wein reift zwei Monate in Edelstahltanks und danach 12 weitere Monate in Barriques, anschließend kehrt der Rotwein für drei Monate in Edelstahltanks zurück. Hiernach wird der Primitivo abgefüllt und reift vor seiner Freigabe weitere vier Monate in der Flasche.Der Paradiso 1954 Primitivo IGP Puglia ist ein Fest für das Auge und hat eine undurchdringliche rubinrote Farbe mit granatroten Reflexen. In der Nase sehr intensiv und komplex, kennzeichnen rote Früchte, getrocknete Pflaumen, Marasca und Myrte das Aroma. Das Bouquet ist herrlich blumig und verwöhnt mit würzigen Nelkendüften. Sein Körper ist voll und vorhandene Tannine sind gut eingebunden. Seine schöne Säure ist geschmeidig und ausgeglichen. Im Abgang ist der Primitivo anhaltend. Zu Pasta mit geschmackvollen Soßen, gegrilltem Fleisch oder gereiftem Käse ist der trockene Rotwein aus Italien ein wundervoller Begleiter.
