Vesevo Greco di Tufo DOCG

Vesuvius not only dominates the Campania region visually. The famous volcano is also decisive for the Vesevo Greco di Tufo DOCG from Vesevo. This is because the mineral soil gives the Greco di Tufo grape its typical notes and thus gives the wines their multi-faceted aromas.

The aroma of the straw-yellow wine is reminiscent of a meadow orchard with apple and pear trees. This is accompanied by aniseed notes, which are also convincing on the palate. Here, the Italian wine shows its mineral strength, which is contrasted by a medium body and moderate acidity. At the end, the white wine surprises with a long, intense finish.

Enjoy this fresh wine as an accompaniment to white meat, fish or seafood. But it also makes a convincing aperitif on its own. For best enjoyment, the drinking temperature should be 10-12 °C.

Vesevo

Zenato Valpolicella Superiore
The Zenato Valpolicella is somewhat similar to the Bardolino; however, the Valpolicella is a little more powerful and shows a fuller body – it is simply of better quality. The wine consists of Corvina Veronese (responsible for the bouquet and the acidity), Rondinella (lots of sugar) and Sangiovese (gives the wine its elegance). This is a wine that can be enjoyed young, but another few years of ageing in the wine cellar will further enhance its qualities. For years, Valpolicella has been one of Italy’s most famous wines. Unfortunately, one can find many Valpolicella wines of poor quality on the market but fortunately, we don’t have to worry about this as far as Zenato wines are concerned, as Zenato produces only high-quality wines.
