Every year at the end of September, a regional wine festival in honour of the Falanghina variety is held in Campania. The variety is famous for exceptional white wines that are now enjoying increasing popularity. The Vesevo Falanghina has a multi-faceted bouquet hinting of citrus fruits, sweet melon, pineapple and mint with nuances of ginger.

The white wine is soft and harmonious on the palate, medium-bodied, with a finish of fine minerality and well-balanced acidity content providing length and freshness. The late-ripening Falanghina grape is the viticulture’s signature in the Italian region of Campania. Try the Vesevo Falanghina with seafood dishes, young cheese, white meat and Asian meals.

Nero Grande Appassite Puglia IGP
This wonderfully intense red wine from Apulia offers majestic notes of blueberries and blackberries, well rounded off by hints of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and warm, with lovely, sweet nuances. Using the traditional Appassimento method, the grapes ripen beyond the ripeness date and dry on the vines. They shrivel almost to the size of a raisin, thus gaining aromas, acidity and a higher sugar concentration. The exceptionally rich wines produced from these grapes are characterised by an intense bouquet offering notes of dried fruit. These wines are also full-bodied and show a remarkable spice. The Italian wine expert Luca Maroni awarded this wine 97 points (Luca Maroni Award 2018).
