Cantine Menhir Pass-O Fiano Bianco

The grape variety Fiano Bianco is a very old autochthonous white one from south Italy.

In the glass it has a bright straw yellow colour with golden lustre. The bouquet of peach, apricot, orange blossom and sage is remarkable. On the palate the wine tastes fresh, delicate, sumptuous with notes of honey, peach and a light-weight fresh acidity.

Enjoy Cantine Menhir Pass-O Fiano Bianco to herb cheese varieties, fish soup, smoked salmon or pumkin gnocchi as well as sushi or marzipan.

Menhir Salento

Product recommendation

Donnafugata Anthìlia DOC Sicilia Bianco
The Donnafugata Anthìlia DOC Sicilia Bianco is a successful example of the winegrowing tradition in Sicily, combining Catarrato with grape varieties typical of the region. This cuvée from the Donnafugata winery brings a strong personality and complex elegance to the table. On the nose, you will experience both the strong fruit development with aromas of peach and apricot as well as an accentuated floral note. The plum note also plays a decisive role on the palate and is balanced here by the interplay of spice and acidity. Anthilia creates a soft overall impression that is very refreshing. We recommend this wine from Italy with fish in many variations, as well as crustaceans, seafood and other sea creatures. This full-bodied white wine requires a drinking temperature of 9 to 11 °C to fully develop its flavor.
