On the palate, the Masca del Tacco Lu Rappaio Primitivo di Manduria is multi-faceted, with an elegant structure and a prolonged finish. This red wine from Apulia matured for 10 to 15 months in oak casks. It is an ideal accompaniment to dark and white meat prepared on the grill or in the oven. It can also be enjoyed with pasta with spicy sauces and tangy cheeses.

It is therefore all the more important to preserve the original character of this grape. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento does this very well. Deliberately with a little less residual sweetness and very structured on the palate, this dry wine from Italy is full-bodied but at the same time has a smoothness that is second to none. In a long process with the cellar master and owner Gaetano Marangelli from Cantine Menhir, we have brought the typical Apulian native form of a Primitivo into the bottle.The color is an intense dark red and shows all the power of the sun that was able to flow into the grapes of the Pr1mo. The nose has wonderful aromas of cherry jam, ripe plums and wild berries. Maturing in wooden barrels gives the wine an additional hint of vanilla. Fruit and fullness dominate the palate. The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is always velvety and balanced. Enjoy the original Puglia.The Pr1mo Numero Uno Primitivo Salento is an all-rounder that can be enjoyed solo or with a good meal. Serve this wine with roast pork or dark meat from the grill.
