Der Pfannebecker "Fass 23" QbA trocken ist eine klassische Cuvée aus Cabernet Sauvignon und Merlot. Auf dem Weingut Pfannebecker setzt die neue Generation seit über zehn Jahren auf ökologischen Weinbau und eine Handselektion der Trauben. Mit größter Sorgfalt entstehen herausragende Weine.

Nach der Maischegärung reift der Pfannebecker "Fass 23" QbA in traditionellen Barriques auf der Feinhefe. Das gibt dem Rotwein Struktur und sanfte Tannine. In der Nase vermischen sich Noten von Süßkirsche, Rauch und Gewürzen. Ein harmonischer Fruchtgeschmack kommt am Gaumen hinzu und gibt dem Wein Charakter. Im Abgang klingt er noch lange nach.

Genießen Sie diese Cuvée etwas unterhalb der Zimmertemperatur. Dann kommt die Frische der Früchte optimal zur Geltung. Lamm oder gegrilltes Fleisch sind optimale Begleiter.

Das Weingut Pfannebecker liegt im südlichen Rheinhessen, im Wormser Stadtteil Pfeddersheim, und wird von der Familie Pfannebecker schon seit Jahrhunderten bewirtschaftet. Der heutige Gutshof entstand 1960 unter Wolfgang Pfannebecker, als der Familienbetrieb an den Ortsrand von Pfeddersheim verlegt wurde, um sich ganz auf den Weinbau zu konzentrieren. Ab 1979 führten Holker und Margit Pfannebecker das Weingut weiter, bevor Max Pfannebecker ab dem Jahrgang 2003 die Stilistik der Weine zu prägen begann und 2006 die Verantwortung für den Familienbetrieb übernahm. Heute arbeiten mehrere Generationen gemeinsam daran, die Weinbautradition der Familie mit einem nachhaltigen Verständnis von Weinbau fortzuführen.

Die Schwerpunkte des Weinguts liegen auf Riesling sowie weißen und roten Burgundersorten, ergänzt durch Goldmuskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon und Syrah. Seit dem Jahrgang 2007 werden sämtliche Weinberge ökologisch bewirtschaftet. Viel Handarbeit, spontane Vergärung mit natürlichen Hefen und eine schonende Reifung auf der Feinhefe verleihen den Weinen ihre klare, elegante Stilistik und einen ausgeprägten Herkunftscharakter. Zudem werden alle Weine vegan ausgebaut.

Die Philosophie des Weinguts gründet sich auf die Überzeugung, dass außergewöhnliche Weinqualität bereits im Weinberg entsteht. Der Knipser Blauer Spätburgunder trocken duftet wunderbar facettenreich nach Himbeeren und Kirschen sowie Nuancen von Zigarrenkiste und Espressopulver.
