The Haltinger Pinot Blanc from Baden is a fresh, unpretentious white wine with distinct fruit flavors and a pleasant lightness. Haltinger Winzer eG is known for its modern, approachable wines from the Markgräflerland region.
On the nose and palate, the wine displays a clean, fruit-forward profile. Delicate mirabelle plum aromas are accompanied by hints of chestnut. Juicy on the palate with notes of honey and ripe apples. Well-balanced acidity.
The grapes grow on southwest-facing slopes on limestone-marl and loess soils. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks, allowing the fruit to remain clear and unadulterated in the foreground.
With a low residual sugar content, the wine is dry and very approachable. The recommended serving temperature is 8–10 °C.
Whether with a meal or on its own, the Haltinger Pinot Blanc pairs excellently with light dishes such as salads, vegetable dishes, or white fish, and also stands out on its own as an aperitif.
