Domaine des Genèves Chablis Chablis Premier Cru Vaucoupin

The Domaine des Genèves winery cultivates its vineyards in the heart of the Chablis region, where the unique Kimmeridgian soils have shaped the character of great Chardonnay wines for centuries. The Domaine des Genèves Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin is an elegant Premier Cru that reflects the character of its renowned vineyard in a particularly authentic way. The combination of delicate minerality, lively freshness, and precise fruit gives this Chablis its unmistakable style.

In the glass, the wine glows a pale golden-yellow with brilliant highlights. The nose opens with delicate aromas of citrus fruits and white flowers, underscored by a subtle mineral note. On the palate, the Chablis is both straightforward and complex. Its lively acidity carries the delicate fruit, while the characteristic minerality of the Kimmeridgian soils provides depth, finesse, and a long, elegant finish.

Aging takes place entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. There, the white wine undergoes both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation before being gently clarified and filtered. This ensures that the clarity of the fruit, the precision of the aromas, and the mineral character of the terroir are preserved as much as possible.

Served at a temperature of 10 to 12 °C, the Domaine des Genèves Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin reveals its full elegance. It pairs just as stylishly with premium fish, grilled or pan-seared fish, scallops, oysters, and other seafood as it does with fine poultry or mild goat cheese. A characterful Chablis Premier Cru that impresses with its elegance, finesse, and distinct terroir.
