Die Domaine des Genèves ist ein traditionsreiches Familienweingut im Herzen der bekannten Weißweinregion Chablis in der Bourgogne im nördlichen Burgund, Frankreich. Seit den 1970er-Jahren gehört das Anwesen der Familie Aufrère, heute geführt von Stéphane Aufrère, der die Rebflächen mit großer Leidenschaft und Respekt vor dem Terroir bewirtschaftet. Die Weinberge des Gutes erstrecken sich über rund 21 Hektar und umfassen klassisch bepflanzte Parzellen in den Lagen Petit Chablis, Chablis und mehrere Premier Cru-Terrassen wie Les Fourneaux, Vaucoupin und Mont de Milieu – allesamt auf den kimmeridgischen Kalkböden, die der Region ihre charakteristische Mineralität und Frische verleihen.

Das Sortiment der Domaine des Genèves konzentriert sich auf elegante Chardonnay-Weißweine, die die typische Chablis-Charakteristik von lebendiger Frucht, feiner Zitrus-Note und markanter Mineralität transportieren. The grapes for this wine come from old vines in the wine-growing area of Chablis: many factors interact to create a unique taste experience. The Glenwood Grand Duc Noblesse from the Glenwood vineyard is an exceptional sweet wine made from 29-year-old vines that thrive on the well-drained soils of Clovelly and Avalon. Without artificial irrigation, the grapes slowly develop their full aroma.Before pressing, they undergo an additional selection process to guarantee the highest quality. Only the best, noble rotten berries are used. After pressing, the juice is filled into small, selected French oak barrels with a capacity of 225 liters, where it is fermented and fermentation is stopped naturally at 130 g of residual sugar per liter.The result is a harmonious sweet wine with a golden yellow color and seductive notes of nuts, honey and citrus fruits, with subtle similarities to the famous Sauternes. Graham Beck Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) Brut 0,375 Liter halbe Flasche
An all round crowd pleaser and extremely versatile bubbly crafted from a selection of the classic MCC varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Both varietals were hand-picked: Chardonnay at 18-19.5°B for fruit and elegance and Pinot Noir at 18.5-20°B for complexity and length of flavour. In the cellar whole bunch pressing ensures fractional recovery. After settling of the juice the two varieties are fermented separately. They are then cross-blended along with reserve wine if necessary, bottled and left for 15 to 18 months yeast contact time before disgorgement. Light yeasty aromas and secondary tones of limey fresh fruit on the nose with rich creamy complexity on the palate. The exceptionally fine mousse contributes freshness and finesse.
